Jose Mourinho Sack Watch

Don't say that, somebody is bound to look at that freak season and think that he is a genius of some kind, it would be truly ironic if he ended up managing Southampton.
..and then start signing all his players from Liverpool instead..

But he'll never get another top 6 job.

Sadly him and Moyes have harmed the reputation of young British managers.

About £50million pay out of he gets sacked.

Wonder how far he will go. What would you do for £50million?

Slap John Terry, right in the middle of a game after a defensive blunder.

He tried that basically. Jose's gone pretty low before so he's going to have to dig really deep to shame himself into a sacking.

He's tried sexism too. Called the fans names.

Does Roman have a daughter?

Call the ref a Gaylord after the next defeat.

That oughta cause a big enough sh!tstorm to get him that payoff

Just for extra misery a couple of the bastads taunting him by celebrating in his face

They are right. The biggest worry is how Mourinho is acting. He looks like a man lost and only thinks that whinging and playing up is the best way to go. What we need from the manager now is leadership and he isn't showing it but rather being petulant and moody.

A lot of Chelsea fans are stuck between a rock and a hard place here. On one hand, Mourinho is a proven winner and offers stability. On the other, he seems to be losing it.
I disagree, he's never stayed anywhere long enough to prove this.

I'm actually amazed at the decline of this Chelsea team, whilst I'd be the first to admit they won a pretty poor Premier league last season, I was still expecting far more this season.

The regression has been unbelievable, Matic, Ivanovic and Hazard have been terrible. People were talking Hazard up as a WPOTY at one stage.

I think Chelsea should go against the usual way of this business and actually hold on to the manager. He's one of the best in the business, he's proven that. You're most likely not gonna get a better guy than him since I believe Pep will stay at Bayern for another year or two.
Aside of that, holding on to Mourinho would give him a vote of confidence and hold the players, who are seriously underperforming, accountable. In the Chelsea matches I've seen, it wasn't so much the opponent outsmarting them with clever tactics, but rather players not putting the effort in, committing massive individual errors and thus costing them goals and games.

In today's business, far too many managers are sacked too quickly before the players get held accountable.

As far as i'm aware, in most contracts the manager keeps getting paid his wages until he joins another club, if that's the case with mourinho then it won't be a problem for chelsea.

Which is the weird thing. They can't have all turned crap over the summer.

Any other manager and roman would have sacked him by now, Jose will not be sacked and he will get it right. Right now, i am just enjoying the turmoil. As far as fans of chelsea are concerned they can by man city shirts with de bruyene on them :)

They can, not because they lost their skills but because they lack the motivation and drive they had last year. Especially in Hazard's case, people have always hinted at attitude problems.

Maybe, but it just seems like very good players are all of a sudden completely useless. Definite parallels with our season under Moyes (only far worse for them because they haven't changed anything, let alone a manager who ran the club for 27 years).

People underestimate the league in full. José has this season, City did last season ,van Gaal did last season.

Bar Sunderland, there's literally no easy games, and in time, Big Sam will have Sunderland as rigid and tough to beat as his usual sides.

Jose and his team came into the season cocky, barely signed anyone either. They underestimated the PL.

Chelsea lost again? What the hell... lol well the bad news is that Arsenal won at Everton, I wish they lost.

How can you just underestimate the PL like that though? They genuinely thought they were going to win it again with minimal effort?

Would appear so. Expecting respect. Nobody respects the champions once the new season kicks off.

Agree with this, although some of his behaviour has been bizarre.

There is no way they are firing him. At least if Kloop was available they would have thought about it. But definitely not now.

His problem is his team is completely shot.

Every single player is playing like their legs have gone.

*edit*
feck knows what happened when i posted that the first time, my Ipad has taken to randomly deleting words as i type!

IF he goes, which I doubt, I can see them lining up Simeone as his successor, as opposed to the more obvious candidate of Guardiola.
