I was just about to say this ,I don't understand this strange belief that everything will be alright because he has a great record even though the team has shown no real improvement over the last 2 months and each week he has brought a new controversy to make the situation worse.

Completely agree mate! A blip in form of a few games is one thing. And when big clubs lose a few games it inevitably leads to the rumours starting.
But this isn't a few games now. This is nearly 3 months in to the season. This is 3 months of poor results, poor play, huge circus headlines and dire performances. And this is Mourinho who typically suffers from this third season syndrome wherever he goes.
