How about the interviewer asking questions, Southampton were denied penalty calls as well. That was a seven minute rant.

Not sure I'd call it an interview at this point really!

Walked off when the interviewer wanted to ask another question as well  fecking brilliant.

yeah I suppose so

feck me, that doesn't sound good.

What did he say?
meltdown. "if they want to sack me they can sack me, but I am not going on my own." "I want to be completely honest (...) the refs are to blame."

It was just 7 minutes of explaining, that he is still up for the job and that obviously the refs conspire against Chelsea. So desperate and deluded.

He wanted to when Mourinho shut up, but Mourinho just walked off then!

That was like watching someone read out a post from Needham.

This is so good

When he built up the need for honesty just to blame referees... It was comic genius.

He has lost the players. He can talk about sticking together but hauling off Matic after 20 minutes won't help him at all with that.

What a rant, he's losing it big time.

Surely he knows some people at the club want him gone, this is not a manager in control at all.

In that case, I do apologise. However, I did hear Chelsea fans complaining about him not getting the funds to sign players this past summer, which is ridiculous.
He didn't really. The only players we bought were Baba Rahman, Pedro, Papy whatshisname, Hector whatshisname, Begovic and Falcao. Out of those, only one of them was reportedly a Mourinho targeted player and he was a favour to Mendes. Only two of those can be considered a first team player (Pedro and Baba Rahman maybe) and only one of them really solved the tactical issues within our team (Pedro as a goalscoring right winger).

It was clear Mourinho wanted another midfielder, a right winger who could score goals and a couple of younger and faster defenders (A CB mainly). His RW choice was Griezmann, who we could have got for 40 odd million euro's but refused. His CB was Stones, who we cocked up on and didn't even attempt to try for a backup and his CM was Koke, who rejected us which meant for some insane reason we decided not to bring in another CM. I can fully understand why Mourinho is upset at the board, however, I think what is happening right now should not be happening regardless of the crappy transfer window we had.

This also shows how well Louis van Gaal has done to bounce back from being on the verge of the sack at Bayern and also last season with us, while the board supported him, he could have lost the players when he had 13 points from 10 matches, even on these forums he underwent a lot of criticism but now look where he is and with such a young team too.

And they were super lucky against Arsenal.

So many Chelsea fans I know mocked Lvg for the fact that he was sacked by Barca when they were near relegation zone so this is fun

Full interview

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho speaking to Sky Sports: "Look, I think you know me and I don't run away from my responsibilities. First, I want to say because we are in such a big moment you should not be afraid to be honest.

"The referees are afraid to give decisions for Chelsea. At 1-1, it is a huge penalty and once again we don't get. If the FA wants to punish me they can. They don't punish other managers. My players deserve it and the fans deserve it.

"Referees are afraid to give decisions for Chelsea, why because there is always a question mark and we are always punished.

"Clear penalties are not given. Even in the Champions League in a match we lose 2-1, we are not given a penalty in the last minute.

"The penalty in this game is crucial because my team, at the moment, the first negative thing that happens, they collapse.

"The penalty was a giant penalty and after that the team lost even more confidence."

"If the club wants to sack me they have to sack me because I am not running away. To be champions now is very difficult because the distance is so much but I am convinced we will finish in the top four.

"It is a crucial moment in the history of this club because if they sack me they sack the best manager this club has ever had. The message is that the results are the fault of the manager.

"This is a moment for everybody to assume their responsibilities and stick together."

"thank you, goodbye".

He isn't going to manage our national team in the near future. In fact i think he will end up managing the England Nt instead of us.

Mourinho has been reading a lot of RAWK. Andy @ Allerton would be proud

I think it's 90% certain he'll be sacked between now and January. Their main problem is defence and that can't be fixed until January. They will drop a lot of points between now and then and Abramovich will lose patience.
