Embarrassing display.

If we were stout defensively and tough to break down, then alright. I don't mind a limp attack.

But we're bad in both phases.

DDG bails us out constantly.

There is a difference between a planned catenaccio approach giving away very few chances or just having been very lucky not to be 2-0 down at ht.
 
Anyone that believes he's getting the best out of this squad needs their heads checked.
I can't even dream about signing this or that because I don't think transfers will help what we are looking at.
 
Poor team selection, poor tactics and we are just making up the numbers in this competition. Hard to work out what we are actually trying to do.

I don’t think Jose is doing a terrible job but he should go in the summer. I think he has taken the team as far as he can and things are only going to get worse.

We're open like the red sea.

We can't attack with any structure nor defend.

It's all disorganized and disjointed.

At least in the LVG era the boys were able to pass the ball to one another.
 
This was inevitable. LVG was so bad that Jose felt like an attacking manager. He really needs to give oir attacking players more freedom. If he cant do that with 2 defensive minded midfielders then he's never going to.
 
I wouldn't give this guy another penny to spend.

Jose's United would still play like shit even if he signed Ronaldo/Messi or Neymar.
 
I hope we get rid of the bloke and not give him another ton of money. He's had enough to get a better string of performances together than we've had of late. There are coaches out there who'd love to coach Sanchez, Lukaku, Martial, Rashford, Mata, etc.

There's a big tendency for the Mourinho fanboys to say our squad was way off when Mourinho arrived. Whatever the case, he's got more than enough quality throughout our squad to do way better than this.
 
Definitely feels like we don’t have the same Mourinho Chelsea or Inter had that’s for sure. Just feels off and it really shows no sign of changing at this point.
 
He did just sign a new contract so it's seriously doubtful he's going anywhere voluntarily.

No idea what the board are up to, unfortunately.
 
Reminiscent of the LVG era in terms of entertainment. At least we had possession back then. None of this whoever renounces possession reduces the possibility of making a mistake shite. Though we're not even purposefully operating under that ethos tonight.

I'm not having the "players are too poor" argument.
Things like pressing, thing like pass and move, showing for the ball, taking the game to the opponent have to come from the manager.
They're not coming from him.

“It’s Mourinho, so it’s all ok.”

I really don’t think this argument carries much weight anymore, you’re only as good as your last game and right now Mourinho is doing an average to poor job.
 
Disgrace performance. No organisation, no plan, no passion. The only thing we can cheer were De Gea brilliance again.
 
The damning thing for me is we haven’t even been good defensively for a while now. We conced lots of shots, we get beaten 1 on 1, we leave space right in front of our defence, our man marking goes walkabout several times per match...
 
The performances are getting worse, not better. We got something like 23 points from the first 10 games and were comfortably second. Since then we've not even been hitting top four form. If we keep playing like this we'll get overtaken.
 
Problem I have is, I just don't fancy us to beat anyone anymore and that is a major concern. Seems that no matter who we play we always look devoid of ideas and a game plan. Just don't know what to think about Mourinho anymore.
 
A lot of talented players look like workhorse journey men at the minute. You sort of forget that we have a very, very talented squad. It's so fecking dull under Mourinho.
 
With Jose in charge, I had so many matches on the side while I am working on something else, I lost count.

Horrible football. But we still have that second place eh? Eh? Feck off.

If by some miracle Pochettino was tempted to join us, I'd sack him.
 
Yet another non-performance in a big game. I can't even see what he's trying to do these days. Either he has no plan or he can't get the players to execute it. Whichever it is, I have little hope of him putting it right.
 
What the hell was that? We had no composure.

This 0-0 away from home is outdated. One Sevilla goal and we are screwed.
