Ffs, I thought they disappeared, but they are back at it again! Jose is doing fine, stop the moaning. Pep is not coming and LvG retired. We just signed a world class player because of Jose and people still complaining why we did not score more goals with Burnley, even though we won. Some games you score more and some others you don't.

I m happy with Mourinho, he is the best manager in the world by a mile, Pep included.

Not much after Everton and Stoke, back to normal after one game.

So who would have played ahead of Mata?

Bizarre is your post.

Fellaini or Herrera. There is absolutely nothing bizarre about that at all.

If you think that choosing Mata was the right decision (especially in light of his performance) then there’s no point discussing this further as our opinions wildly differ.

They are best left to their own devices

It's funny how this thread is never bumped after a dominant performance.

Anyway, I didn't think we played too badly yesterday. It was a hard game away from home against a very tough team and I think we had many chances to wrap the game up towards the end of the game but we fecked up most of them. I'm looking forward to seeing how much Sanchez is going to improve us going forward.

Exactly!

Selective memory is awesome it seems - United had matches like yesterday on a regular basis under Ferguson too. Three points collected, move on to the next!

Jose's work here at United really is underrated and underappreciated it's not even funny. His squad building now with the Sanchez swap deal has been top notch, just compare our team before he came here and now. Yet it feels he wont get any praise for this fantastic deal.

The true successor to Fergie and couldn't be more proud to have him as our manager.
This signing is up there as some of Jose's best work. cannot believe he stole in on this deal. The balls to pull it off. Most in England thought Sanchez was already at City. I always said you don't know if a player is available until you put money down on the table

I just love how the transfer worked out for us. None of that nonsense like Moyes waiting for Mata to arrive with helicopter. That's like a dog waiting for his master to come back home.

While Mourinho is waiting in his office and waiting for Alexis to knock his office.

That's how authority works and thank you for bringing Alexis to us. Love the guy.

Good analogy mate

18 months here now, brought in bailly, pogba, matic, Sanchez, lukaku.

Doing a far better rebuild than those before him. Has my full backing to continue and can't imagine who people would realistically want over him now.

Despite what the media would have you believe, I bet a lot of players relish the thought of playing under Mourinho - slightly different to when Moyes was trying to attract the big names for his 'rebuilding'

This. Get behind the manager while he is here and making progress.

Absolutely.

Jose Mourinho is the best manager in the world. We aren't the best team in the world or in the top 5 teams in the world yet we can still attract the best players because of him. Imagine when the rebuild is actually complete how many players will want to come to United. The state of our team when LVG left was shocking and finishing level on points with City doesn't tell the story. We were awful but credit to Mourinho and Woodward slowly but surely we are building a team which can rival the best in the world with a mix of World Class players (De Gea, Pogba, Sanchez) and very good players that have the potential to be World class (Bailly, Lindelof, Shaw, Martial, Rashford, Lukaku). 1 more summer and I think we will have a complete squad ready to challenge on all fronts.

Yep.
When SAF retired I was shocked that we got Moyes, over Jose.
An absolutely catastrophic decision. But anyway, 3 years on - we got him and he is now repairing the damage which was done since SAF left.
I'm looking forward to how we play with Sanchez in the team and definitely expect the league title next season.

That team he's building is so . We've been through some horrid time last few years. It's time to sit back and enjoy the football ahead!!

Wtf was the cider about? Heard the commentator mention it too.

Right now I have so many players I am excited about, and they are not being hold back (see LvG). I can’t wait to see how we will line up come next season, even if the season and CL are not over yet. I just have a feeling we will become very, very special. Stability at last.

I'd have hoped, after the Arsenal game, he'd have realised a 3 of Matic, Pogba and Lingard isn't a good enough midfield to cope with the better teams. We won that game, but a de Gea classic saved us from a battering. They were walking through our midfield at will.

Sadly not.

2nd time under Mourinho in a game, we've conceded so early on, but also looked like a team playing together in the 1st time. Like how?

And why are we so bad at aerial duels and set pieces?

Our big game performances are really poor. Hopefully he does something in the 2nd half to change it up.

He should be embarrassed today. The easiest decision he had to make and he fecked it up. Yeah, i'm a fan who knows better than Jose because some things don't need rocket science.

He should have known that we need that extra man (Herrera) in big games like these where opponents are pressure us high. Also we're bleeding down the left flank, Young experiment needs to stop imo.

He's messed the tactics up tonight badly. Playing a two man midfield would be hard enough but when one of them is Pogba, what do you expect? Young has been exposed as the shit winger he really is and he's also effectively rendered Martial pointless by playing him on the right.

Good stuff.

He gets criticised when he parks the bus. But when you see how shite our defence is against good teams you understand why he does it. Right now we'd all take a boring 0-0 like we got at Anfield.
