"Antonio Valencia comes from holiday, I think too much holiday for him. His condition was not good when he came back."What's he said about Val?
Antonio is the last person I would be accusing of being out of shape."Antonio Valencia comes from holiday, I think too much holiday for him. His condition was not good when he came back."
And then mentioned the injury being a result of his condition.

Cheers guys. Saw the quotes but thought they were about Martial for some reason."Antonio Valencia comes from holiday, I think too much holiday for him. His condition was not good when he came back."

No. Just seems odd. He always seems to be in good shape. Are you accusing him of making it up?
Make it happen mods. I'm curious to see what the split is like now. It's a perfect time for a new Jose poll with only two options
I'll say one thing for Mourinho, he is building a decent squad and if he doesn't succeed with them the next manager in will not have the task of gutting the squad because of deadwood, at least nowhere near as much as Jose has had to. The squad is the most positive thing he is doing here right now. He's starting fights with everyone.
He'll be gone by the season's end. We'll make the mistake of not replacing early. Like Mourinho, I'm a pessimist nowadays, especially about the future of this football club.

Technically they kind of do, it’s just in the general forum. It’s like a clubhouse.
Yeah i was gonna say. The "Is the United forum safe to go into yet" is a nice little circle jerk for them
The irony is that the mods have literally just complained about this tripe and have had to merge the myriad of anti-Jose threads into one. Yet here we have the main proponents complaining about the ONLY thread where people want to have a discussion or avoid idiotic meltdowns over pre-season training games. It may come as a shock to you but the adults on here don't have much tolerance for grown-ass people (or not as the case may be) machine-gunning every single topic with their BS.
@TheReligion you were right mate, rife hypocrisy.
That’s the one, it’s insufferable if you actually go through and read what they are talking about. Ironic that it’s mostly a thread of them moaning about moaners and slagging off extracts from peoples posts.Yeah i was gonna say. At this point I'm even beginning to wonder if he even cares if he gets fired

Specially with the extension, the man wins whatever happens .The wisdom of giving that extension so quickly can be questionned too. A whole clusterfeckI said in another thread, I think he's paving the way for it. He certainly won't leave on his own accord.
To be fair, there is zero discussions in that thread.

As for Jose doesn’t look happy, doesn’t sound happy, hopefully “his brave boys” coming back from the WC lighten his mood because if this is an outlier for the season then god help us.

It is difficult when there is not any semblance of an argument added to the fact we all know who the usual culprits are who like to machine gun a thread with their agenda and not actually put forward any constructive points. The people who do put some critique forward that is good to read and learn from are drowned out because invariably you have to scroll so far down to find anything useful that you will come across some utter tripe and you get embroiled in a back and forth.
Note to self. Just ignore those types of posts as much as possible. It will only add to the chaos. It is difficult though because people say and advise that if you do then you will just promote an echo chamber on here.
You can build that thread up as much as you want. It has feck all to do with "adults" having a discussion. It's a circle jerk for people to snipe at others they perceive to be "spoilt" or "entitled" or, that magic word, have an "agenda"
Exactly. They try to build it up as some sort of safe space where smart "adults" can have a discussion about United. No it's fecking not. It's exactly what you said. It's self-righteous bollox taking aim at other United supporters they perceive as being "entitled" or some other adjectives they can come up with to make themselves feel superior.
Look, it's pretty sad that we're on a United forum and the fan base it so divided that it basically resembles an opposition forum. But i guess that's what it has come to.
Let's make it simple, the caf is negative most posters have no faith in the manager and/or the board, unfortunately it's due to both actions and no amount of forced optimism will make their actions look positive, maybe people shouldn't repeat their pessimistic thoughts though. Now, the thread that you are mentioning is frankly shit, it's made of people that believe that they are somehow superior when they are the same moaning machines, they moan and attack everyone that doesn't agree with them even when it's legitimate or simply a matter of taste.
Thank you for highlighting exactly what the issue is with posters like yourself. You kick and scream when people don't want to engage with your asinine comments. It just goes to show the lack of ability to grasp the reality of the situation where the vast majority of threads are no better than bots spamming the same propaganda every 2 seconds. You want to force people to agree with you and entertain your drivel and then throw a tantrum either way. Attention seeking for kids.
You lack what is required to understand the difference between a discussion and one line insults with absolutely no depth or value. This is why people don't value or entertain your tripe more than they have to. The fact that the mods have had to merge a crapload of these threads into one sitting that "we don't need a thread for every time people think Jose should be sacked" after a pre-season friendly no less. Yet somehow you are oblivious to what this actually means in terms of your argument. Let me help with this explanation:
If the ONE SINGLE thread where people don't want your type of nonsense is a "circle jerk" then what the feck does that mean for the tenfold threads spamming rubbish. I guess that makes them "Concentric circle Jerk" threads.
I will do what the mods have advised me to do and that is just to put garbage like this on the ignore list.
Pretty much yes.
Do you have empathy for the argument that one-liner abuse is not an opinion? I can't stand the fact that they get away with this time and again. "Jose is a cancer", "we did not have first team missing players", "Jose is a massive cnut" and other words to that effect. How is it even possible to have a conversation or discussion with that ??
When you respond with the actual facts and I am not talking about subjective things like the "style of football" because as we all know that even when we were winning trebles and doubles there were still people complaining about our football despite arguably being the best footballing United side at least for generations.
That's my feeling as well. Totally out of character for Valencia. However, I guess we have to take Jose's word for it. I know he lies, but this is easily refuted so can't see him making this up.No. Just seems odd. He always seems to be in good shape.
Antonio is the last person I would be accusing of being out of shape.
He’s just getting his excuses in.We are in for a shock if we don't get the players he wants. For every dropped point, he will point a finger towards Woodward and throw the players under the bus.
Very bad attitude for a United manager.
got this sent to me - if those Mourinho quotes are accurate, on the back of everything else I would sack him
On having to play with youngsters in preseason :
Pep : “ You cannot imagine how much I have enjoyed these two weeks with these guys. The young guys have desire. They open their eyes and listen because they have their whole career ahead of them. I want to say thank you to them.”
Mourinho : "We started the game with a lot of players who will not be in our squad on August 9. This is not my squad, not even half, not even 30% of my squad. So don't look to this.
“Look, do you want Sanchez to be very happy with the players he has around him? We are here just to survive and to have some not very ugly results. Alexis is the only striker we have. And the poor man is there trying his best."
