Sick and tired of him, hopefully the board sacks him quick and early. Utterly joyless ghoul.
Don’t think he’s gonna last
Also think the dragging players under the bus thing is rubbish tho
He played these players, some of whom are young
Privately I’d imagine he is very encouraging to them and that’s what matters
Mourinho though has other problems and it doesn’t look good
We aren’t getting top 4 this season and Mourinho will just drag us down further. We could have a season like Chelsea had when he had his meltdown
It’s like he’s trying to be controversial yet it just comes across as pathetic and frankly very embarrassing to the club.
Completely finished with the miserable Idiot and the sooner he fecks off the better.
You think you're that special you needed your own thread to write this as oppose to using one of the countless others?
He’s definitely going to be in charge for atleast another 12 months, and I don’t want to look ahead to a new season with such negativity.I think all in all,Mourinho has done enough to warrant a 3rd season in charge....He has taken the club and the team forward(even though the style of play can be very ponderous) and this club desperately needs managerial stability...Saturday 13th May. After years in relative wilderness in the Premier League, United clinched second place thanks to Marcus Rashford’s winner. Carrick got to say his goodbyes, youth players were starting and the Manchester club had finished highest in the league since Sir Alex Ferguson had retired.
Why then, is there an increasing sense of negativity surrounding the “special” one? I intend to spell out why an increasing number of fans are feeling like Jose was never a Manchester United manager.
1. Performances.
At the end of last season we saw exactly what many United fans feared. A series of dour and boring performances left the fan base restless and frustrated. Despite having players such as Lukaku, Martial, Rashford and Sanchez - United couldn’t attack to save their lives. Sanchez has been one of the best players in the Prem over the last five years. Lukaku is probably the second best striker in the league. Martial was seen as our best player before Mourinho had arrived. Rashford has just been seen as the most valuable young player in the world. There’s a cavalcade of talent there that for some reason are not performing.
Defence is even worse. Despite spending 65+ million on central defenders we ended the season with a defence that Ferguson could have picked. De Gea was once again our best player.
2. Personality
An increasing number of Manchester United fans seem to be getting frustrated with how Mourinho throws his players under the bus. The aforementioned Martial is criticised for having the gall to want to spend a week with his newborn boy. Young players are made fully aware they will not be used next year. Fresh from a World cup winning goal, Pogba will soon return with fans acutely aware of the fragile nature of his relationship with Mourinho. Players such as Luke a Shaw and Mikhitaryan clearly have found it difficult to face up to Mourinho’s management style.
Even worse is the fact that Mourinho seemed to insult the club itself last year after a dismal performance against Sevilla. Choosing to insult Manchester United rather than admitting any fault. Sir Bobby Charlton reportedly did not think that Mourinho was appropriate for our club due to his personality.... it seems that the great man was right.
3. Rivals’ performance.
Yes we finished second last year. But there is question marks over the sustained ability to do this. Manchester City remain further in front of us than ever. Liverpool give up their league campaign last year as they were in a CL final. Their recruitment seems to have improved them. Chelsea just beat us in the FA Cup final with a lame duck manager and look to have improved this season. Arsenal have got a new manager and signed some class players. Tottenham finished behind us effectively due to awful form at the start of the season when they moved stadium and struggled. While our style of football stagnates we have seen a Liverpool and Tottenham team playing effective and attacking football while Chelsea seem set to improve.
4. Signings.
Mourinho’s signings have mostly been poor.
Eric Bailly and Victor Lindelof cant break into the first team. Mikhi departed after a year. Sanchez (while class) disrupted the team and actually negatively impacted our football. Pogba was the worlds most expensive footballer and got dropped and hasn’t been as good as you would have expected. Ibra arrived, lasted three quarters of a season and then pretty much ended his career leading us to need to completely revamp the strike force the year after. This year we seem to have targeted players who will not improve our weak areas.
5. Players performances.
Martial. Sanchez. Rashford. Shaw. Valencia. Lindelof.
Players who either arrived and struggled to live up to their previous levels or have gone backwards since Mourinho arrived. I have seen people saying he revitalised Lingard and Young, but Ashley was fantastic in LVG’s tenure and it was under Van Gaal that Lingard had a chance to shine. I don’t think he has improved one player under his tenure at the club.
6.Third season syndrome.
Mourinho has a history of struggling in his third year. We are only in pre season but Jose has started falling out with his players, there’s rumours of a falling out with the board (fueled by Mourinho’s own comments) and our pre season results have been awful. We have a lot of players out, but if anything the fact that so many of our attacking players did well enough at the World Cup to miss the start of the season is worrying in itself.
7. Lack of trophies.
If you bring in Jose Mourinho you want short term success. We have won the Europa League and League Cup since he arrived. The Europa league win was fantastic, yet our run was easy. You can only beat what is in front of you, yet there is no doubt we did not play one team in the tournament who you would expect to see in the Premier League. Our cup final defeat to Chelsea was awful and our performance against Sevilla beggared belief. We have spent record amounts of money and this hasn’t been reflected in performances or trophies. If you bring in Mourinho and give him the worlds most expensive player and another 250 million you expect to see vast improvements.
It is not knee jerk to question Mourinho. The man has not done enough at our great club to deserve unwaversing support. His style of play, criticism of players and lack of support for youth is the antithesis to what you expect of a united manager and our results and performance haven’t improved enough for us to settle with him.
I don’t really understand why this needs a new thread. You’ve repeated arguments that I’ve seen all over the forum, some that have a bit of truth in them and some that are total rubbish.
Theres whining is allowed on this forum? You think you're that special you needed your own thread to write this as oppose to using one of the countless others?

The negativity, horrendous football, knack for turning world class players into average ones, lack of class....this will be his last season. I for one can't wait to see what a more attacking manager can do with our players.
I think it's time for the 'I Hate Jose Brigade' to have their own sub forum.
Clearly, the 19,000 threads pertaining to the things we hate about Jose just isn't enough.

Technically they kind of do, it’s just in the general forum. It’s like a clubhouse. You could have a pro Jose sub forum. Call it “we finished second so nuh-uh”
Thank you!I'm merging this with the Mourinho thread. Every individual who decides that Mourinho should be sacked or isn't good enough can do that in the thread dedicated to him. I'm sick of seeing ten different threads essentially saying the same thing.

What's he said about Val?His recent interviews/comments are all directed towards criticizing players. Valencia being the latest target. This season is not looking too good already. He already seems to be in meltdown. I just hope things get better as the season starts.

A lot of people looking for reasons to hate him. He maybe a grumpy sod. However, unless we have a total failure of a season I am sticking by him.
