You said Pickford doesn't do anything better than De Gea despite stats showing there are many things he does better. That's silly to just ignore or say you don't care about. There are ways of saying you don't want someone without being daft.
I've already posted my thoughts. He's better than De Gea but there are better players out there than Pickford that are also attainable.

I think Pickford has his strengths and weaknesses, just like DDG. DDG's highest point was probably higher than Pickford will ever get to, but that feels long gone now.
Everton would (rightfully) want a significant fee to sell, so I'd agree that this is probably a non-starter. It would just be paying a lot without a guaranteed improvement, or an improvement in some aspects but not in others.
If DDG suddenly left then it might make sense, but even then I'd question it.
Well, it really is silly season. Pickford is awful. We have signed some crap over the years, but this would top the lot if it is true.

Would you trust them if they exclusively reported that SJ (or Radcliffe) had won the race? It's all darts at the wall and click-bait/column-filling with your average transfer reporter at these rags. At the very best they're reporting some purposefully leaked statement from Pickford's agent to try and smoke out interest from elsewhere or support some sponsorship negotiation, but even then it's generally not as 'substantive' as that .

Throwback opinion time - How that guy won a WC & was UTD's number 1 I will never know, he was truly bang average not to mention very short for a keeper.

I'm one of a very, very few here who actually rate him but if it was a choice between Onana and Pickford, I'll go with the later.

Please don’t sign this keeper, he’s worse than DDG. Like I’ve said before it seems like our scouting team are useless and are just going for English players that play in the same league… Pickford and Mount are proof of that.
I think Onana is more physically dominant/ imposing.
I'm slightly sceptical of having a short keeper at the back.
Onana is 192cm and Pickford is 185cm. So pickford is the shorter keeper. Do you think Pickford has areas hes better at than onana? Genuine ask.
