In the latest episode of the United Hour Podcast, Nik (@Rood) and Jamie (@Vault Dweller) are joined by special guest Anders (@Lyng) to celebrate the news that ETH is staying put! They also talk about the Euros so far, with special attention on England, Scotland and Denmark. They then finish with some transfer talk and the potential comings and outgoings at Old Trafford.
Don't remember much about it but remember really loving it, then they made some hilariously bad sequel.
As for John Wick...
Given that Jason Mantzoukas is in every decent comedy these days (The Good Place, Big Mouth and Brooklyn 99 off the top of my head in the last few months), getting him cast as a baddie in a John Wick movie is a bit unexpected! Seeing him supposedly look menacing this poster literally made me laugh out loud. It took a bit of Googling to realise it wasn't a joke.
If he's in any scenes next to a pillow, I think I might lose my shit.
Also, if John Wick 3 turns out to be anywhere near as good as the first two, it will go down as the best action trilogy of all time.
Can't wait for this.

I've just read the entire cast list: Keanu (action legend), Halle Berry, Larry Fishburne (back with Neo), MarK Dacascos (90s martial arts B-movie superstar), Lance Reddick (Daniels off The Wire), Jerome Flynn (Bronn off GoT), Jason Mantzoukas (Jay off Big Mouth), Anjelica Houston and Ian McShane.

I broadly agree, but Bourne 3 was a significant drop in quality which is why I brought up the point in the first place.Bourne trilogy maybe.
What I was thinking
In one of the older threads on this forum, I think I supported the idea of the Bourne Trilogy being the best movie trilogy of all time. But the third let the franchise down a bit, and subsequent sequels diluted the brand. Hopefully john Wick can avoid the same mistakes.

As much as I (mostly) like Mantzoukis I don't like the idea of him in a serious role in this. I just don't see it working, he's impossible to take seriously.
I think he can do serious . Did you see the Standalone episode of the league where they showed how he became Rafi? The guy does have talent

A great action movie like they only made them in the 80's and 90's. Your typical inventive plot of martial arts specialist fighting the world to correct any injustice. Just great fun like the recent(ish) Blood And Bone with Michael Jay White.
Btw, anyone capable of finding a torrent copy of Drive from 1997? All I find is a unseeded ISO version over at 1337x.
