Desperately, but the cautions approach this window suggests they’re not banking on it, otherwise they’d sign whomever and say it’s the next guys problem to fix.Yeah we need new owners sorted for next window

He doesn't play for United which means muppets will hype him up to heaven until he comes here, doesn't pull trees instantly and this place will be busy crapping on him and insulting the board for wasting money. Is he? Like, where is this coming from? What's he done to warrant such high praise? Flashy highlight reels? Been good at Benfica? So was Darwin Nunez, and I doubt anyone would argue he is tearing the Premier League apart. Back to Joao Felix, he's done nothing in La Liga for 3 years. His stats are woeful. The excuse is he's been playing under the wrong manager and in the wrong system. Excuses very reminiscent of one Donny van de Beek not too long ago, who also needed the right manager and the right system and he would definitely come good. He also has flashy highlight reels and was good at Ajax, mind you. I digress. The point is, Felix has done absolutely nothing and proven absolutely nothing to be given such extreme levels of praise. Or be worth the money being thrown around for him. He is not a 9 and is not a prolific goalscorer either. Which is what we need. We don't need a lesser Bruno Fernandes or Christian Eriksen, to create chances no one can convert. And definitely not at even half the quoted fee.
That's a steaming pile of BS. Go far back in the thread and revisit posts. Go before his Atletico move too. He's a really good talent, it's clear. He doesn't play for United which means muppets will hype him up to heaven until he comes here, doesn't pull trees instantly and this place will be busy crapping on him and insulting the board for wasting money.
It's the usual Caf cycle. Players that don't play for us and are linked to us are always overhyped by muppets, just because of the new toy prospect. This place isn't even done shitting on Antony and Sancho because they haven't instantly lit the world on fire, yet here we are with them wanting a new guy to poke the knife in.
I like the idea of him, really tidy player, not really a CF but maybe reminds me of a better Garcia type player from his Liverpool days. Not exactly difficult but Maguire couldn’t handle him when we played them in the CL, I think he’s a handful for a CB because he likes to move around a lot and drag them all over the place.I think he’d become an absolute superstar here.
Think this is a loss. Can see him going arsenal. Hope I’m wrong though. Think he’ll thrive under ETH in the prem.If we really have made an offer of 4 million + wages then I can't see this not happening.
Surely we will reach some sort of agreement. Any loan needs to have an option to buy though. He is capable of being a big hit.
He wants out of Atleti. If there’s two offers on the table and one says they’ll buy him if he performs on loan, there’s only United that can afford that in the summerThink this is a loss. Can see him going arsenal. Hope I’m wrong though. Think he’ll thrive under ETH in the prem.

Probably but you’d hope we’d have new owners by the summer so rule nothing outCurrently based on our cash position, I dont think theres too much difference in financial power between us and arsenal.
Says who, Dharmesh Seth? Because he read the news that was given to him and it was something a bit differentApparently we’ve moved on to other targets, unless atl Madrid bring the price down. We’re only willing to pay 3.5m. Don’t get why they’d want so much for a loan… they’ll get more interested teams in the summer if he has a good loan with us and then they can ask for whatever they want.
Don't know, with Arsenal he might think he has a better chance of picking up a trophy in the 6 months he's on loan.Between us and Arsenal then.
He'd choose us if it was up to him I reckon. Bruno & Dalot etc.
I'm not sure about that. Arsenal are doing well right now but he can be the difference for us, he also will have game time under threat when Jesus returns.Don't know, with Arsenal he might think he has a better chance of picking up a trophy in the 6 months he's on loan.
Doesn’t he work for sky sports? Obviously knows something.Says who, Dharmesh Seth? Because he read the news that was given to him and it was something a bit different
He does but he gets his information normally very late. He said he was told "it is not on the agenda at all at the terms quoted. No live negotiations but that can of course can change".Doesn’t he work for sky sports? Obviously knows something.

Stuff like this is always trotted out but don't think it will be much of a factor.Between us and Arsenal then.

Jesus won't be injured forever, though. He would play a lot until February, but afterwards things would become trick at ArsenalStuff like this is always trotted out but don't think it will be much of a factor.
The fact Arsenal are top of the league and can guarantee he starts with Jesus injured will be the deciding factor. Fully expect him to go there.
Expect nothing then. ETH is clearly struggling to get the owners to commit to providing funds. Think Arsenal is much more likely - this is their big opportunity.I fear Arsenal's interest here and this could be Gakpo all over again where it stings to see him join a rival team
Competing for the title or slugging it out for a top 4 finish ? hmm, I know which I would choose if given the option.
I'd be really mad if arsenal got him over us
I wonder if Arsenal can get it done in time for our game against them on 22 January. Bit of a kick in the teeth for EtH if he end up losing two targets to rival clubs in the space of a couple of weeks. Hopefully the club have a decent 'plan C' up their sleeves.
If both teams really want him… he’s most likely to chose arsenal right? Could walk into a winning team and win himself a prem medal. Might come down to who offers him more.He does but he gets his information normally very late. He said he was told "it is not on the agenda at all at the terms quoted. Since then we've had a spanish source + Romano saying that Arsenal and United have ramped up interest in the past few hours.
We wont pay the full loan fee that Atletico are asking. Nor would Arsenal. It's about finding a reasonable middle ground.
Between us and Arsenal then.

Ye could bag himself a prem title after being there for a few months.Stuff like this is always trotted out but don't think it will be much of a factor.

Not to mention the Brazilian coterie of Gabriels, who all speak Portuguese.Arsenal is fighting for the title. Also, London.
And it’s not as if they don’t have Portuguese players - Nuno Tavares and Fabio Vieira
