Surprised PSG Real Madrid Liverpool City Bayern Juve Atletico aren't all fighting over him. Elite player who just happens to be a top clothes designer aswell. Ooft

Here he is, under Nobles wing

You stole that from twitter, still quality though

One of our stupider decisions not selling last summer when his stock was as high as it could be.

We've made so.many.of.those.mistakes.

What was the point of keeping Pogba after he publicly expressed desire to leave in 2019? Why didn't we get a few millions for Romero instead of letting him scratch his balls in Argentina for a whole year and leave on a free? Why did we extend Jones' and Bailly's contracts? Why are we in a situation, where our no. 2 GK is earning around a £100k a week?

Bye bye Blingard... thanks for the memories (I think there were two!). Seriously, I thought he might have a long career at United and I think he might find reasonable success elsewhere if he makes a good choice (West ham would be the obvious one). Many players who leave OT fade into obscurity (Keith Gillespie); I think Jesse won't

Enough to make you weep some of this stuff.
Even extending Bruno looks a bit unnecessary.

He’s blagged a wage long enough and probably had bad influence on certain players!

You think an attacking player who once spent a year without making goal or assist and still being treated like a superstar by the club and media will not bring bad influence on certain players, especially the young ones?? wink wink.

Because they looked nice on balance sheet. the club was run by woodward and his banker friends, all they cared about was to keep the value of this club as high as ever (monetary-wise).

So a international and superstar player who played for Utd for 22 years was taken under the wing of a player who is five years his senior and who has had a remarkable career at a jojo West ham team. Jesse hope he never changes.

Woodward and his croonies should be imprisoned for such criminal incompetence and negligence.

Baffling. Lingard is clearly a problem in the dressing room and has a poor attitude, not to mention him posting pics of him in a West ham kit, and his brother ranting about the state of our club. Yet you'd beg him to stay simply because he's better than Donny van Beek. Thank god football fans have no control of the club is all I can say

We don't know if he is better than DVB. Lingard has been around for ages while DVB had just one season under a manager who never played him.
ETH may know how to get the best out DVB.

Deserves a whole thread this, arguably the biggest problem in our club this past ten years.

Ole wasn't good enough in the end, but he was also saddled with unshiftable dog shit on obscene contracts which turned the dressing room sour.

The nutters online all put the contracts for Jones, etc. down to Ole but it was a club policy put in place by Woodward/Matt Judge (as revealed in a recent Athletic article)

It would seem that young Jesse has a very inflated opinion of how good he is & what he should be earning. It will be very interesting to see which club decides to roll the dice on him. He is the type of player Everton would normally splash the cash on but that ship may have sailed.

Really, really, really don't want to see this guy at the club past 1st June. Get rid

Shame it had to end like this for a former academy player.
Just really overstayed his welcome by about 4 seasons. He should have been sold last summer or left this one on a high, but its just been one big clusterfeck and now we can't wait to see the back of him.

Only a few weeks to go lads until he’s no longer employed by the club

I doubt he will suit in Ten Hag 433 or 4312 formation. I mean as a regular starter battle for premier league title. Lingard is lacking the overall basic top level of handling of the ball.

A CAM role as a nr.10 like for West Ham will suit him good. Like last time he was there.

Bowen - Lingard - Behrama + Antonio

So wish him good luck wherever he goes. Find a club which suit him, level and qualities of your teammates. Then result of it. It will rise your chance to doing well.

Is he still around? I thought he had buggered off to somewhere by now?

I'd be very surprised if Barrow can afford to pay him £150,000 per week

I dont care if he's Ronaldo. His attitude really sucks. Fit or no fit he's detrimental for the team

Has he left yet? I'm still concerned he'll be sticking around like an unflushed turd because he'll somehow manage to weasel himself a new contract.

The vitriol toward a local lad who always gave it his all and gave us a moment of ecstasy in a cup final is weird. He’s been lied to by the previous manager about how much he’ll play and he definitely could’ve contributed something given how shit Bruno has been for large parts. Hope he does well wherever he goes.

At the end of the day Lingard is a united product brought up in the system during the glory years. He's been here since he was a kid and has given us some great performances and key goals. Was he ever of the required standard?, as a bench option probably for a little bit. But that's not enough and so it's good that we move on. No hard feelings , united will always be his home.

I'm far from a huge Lingard fan but I do genuinely believe he is a more useful/better Premier League player than DvdB.

If I were taking over, I'd convince Jesse he was part of the plan moving forward, re-sign him, take the £30m+ for DvdB and put it towards two new CMs and a CF
