He's peaing all over Honduras.

Feck ! Substituted Injured.

Didn't look that serious though.

They called it right. At the end of that article, they wrote:

When this ends up in England, which it surely will, remember this is where it all came from.

Well, the daily mail went full on retard mode as predicted (start reading from the bottom tweet).

Oh I had no idea. I just read that he scored, and then read he went off injured. I thought MUFC07's post was said as if to say "He's scored another one for Mexico!".

Hernandez is the type of player that if he did leave we'd be kicking ourselves hugely. Hes absolutely lethal, remember his first season when he was really in form in feb-april? nobody could stop him. big games, big goals. He's so much more than just your average decent goalscorer, if hew starting with any top team regularly he'd be hitting over 30 a season.

I obviously cant speak for him, and i really do hope he's satisfied with his role, because he does play an important part in the team over all competitions but 6 league starts is just so little for somebody of his quality.

I wouldn't blame him at all for wanting to leave. Of course I hope he doesn't, but it would selfish of us to think "I'm sure he'll be happy being plan-B to Van Persie and Rooney". Both players could play on for another 3/4 seasons as a partnership, and unless Hernandez develops his overall game (or one of Van Persie/Rooney deteriorates big time) then I can't see him breaking the first team as a definite starter.

He's a top guy - great personality and mentality. Doing wonders for the Mexican national team. All we can do is hope he'll remain patient and just take his chances whenever he can until the manager can no longer think that he can take advantage of him.

I always expected it to happen when we signed RvP though. I knew SAF would play him as much as possible, leaving little room for others at times.

Welbeck himself has only really played so much because SAF keeps playing him out of position.
Yup. It's basically between Rvp and Hernandez for the role of to striker up top, and given how crucial Rvp has been to us this season, fergie was going to find it hard to give Hernandez loads of games. At the same time, from hernandez's perspective it has to be annoying. He would be a first choice starter at loads of very good clubs. Really hope we manage to give him more games in the latter stretch of the league season, maybe by at times even dropping Rvp deeper in the hole at times expecially given our lead. He's the perfect second choice striker and we need to keep him happy.

He's an excellent member of our quartet. I think, for the roles they have, all of our strikers are just about at the right level.

He's a much better footballer now than when he first arrived at United. Better at running with the ball, better footwork, much improved link up play and a willingness to try and take players on more too. His transformation is truly admirable.

Can't wait to see much more to come from him too in the coming seasons.

It's baffling really. Now they are reporting that we sent a scout to Serbia to watch Begovic. I wouldn't be surprised if said scout was actually one of their clueless journos.

I think this international break was well timed and has done a lot of good for Hernandez' confidence. He looked like he really enjoyed it out there and he didn't out of shape at all.

Great news - though if Madrid came in and offered £20m + or a Modric swap deal would or should we re-consider?

Personally I'd rather keep Chich though. Not only a model pro but also seems a solid, educated bloke off it.

And he's only going to get better. Very very pleased with the lad

Awfull game for him, I don't know how he lasted 90 minutes today.

A lot of people slating Nani, but Hernandez was shite today too and missed a clear cut opportunity.

Hardly awful. And I don't he could have done anymore with the chance he had
