something in his eye.

United player of the year?

I thought he was trying to hide the tears by pretending there was something in his eye!

I'd be happy for him to win fans player/players player of the year - he'd get my vote.

But vidic, nani, berbatov, giggs are all in with a shout!

 I thought it was Bebe crossing it in for a second.

That was a fantastic cross! Drilled it to feck, and Hernandez just couldn't angle his head right - caught it flush.

Cheers lads, course I bet on it.

Lumped £10 on him, and it came off, paid for my beer....

Bless him at full time, its the stuff of dreams

To come from Mexico in to a new country and culture.Score 20 goals on your debut season one of which virtually seals the 19th title.I'd be in tears.

The compsure to take that chance with his first touch in such a pressure game was incredible. I think he was unlucky with his header as the cross was at an awkward height and Valencia hit it like the ball owed him money.

troubled Chelsea all afternoon, should have a second and set Rooney up for what should have been Rooney's 3rd, but it was that kind of day, 20 gfoalsa in his debut season is some feat and he's eager to develop so there is even more to look forward to!

That's the stuff dreams are made of. This Mexican assassin has been so influential for us this year. I hope he still has a few more big goals left in him for the season.

I know people like Berba and Nani have really stepped it up this season and had their personal best seasons. Vidic has been a monster this season, but feck sake....please just give Javier Hernandez the Player of the Year for us.

20 goals in his debut season. As I said before, I was criticised by people I know when I got his name on the back of my shirt as the season started, but after what I saw in the WC, I thought he'd be special. But I never thought he'd get 20 goals in his first season.

I love him

Was he getting a bit emotional at the end and played the 'there's something in my eye' routine?

...

The goal was brilliant on so many levels. He could have cluttered the ball to get into position but went with insanely quick feet to adjust and struck it. Four touches between Giggs, Park and Chicharito counting for well over 50 yards.

I love him. Just love him. He loves being out there and gives every game his all. That goal today was actually not easy - through one on one in the first minute, plenty of time to think about it, pretty much your first touch, yet put it away no problem. What a little star he is, and what a mockery he makes of some of the ridiculous sums of money spent by our rivals....

Missed a couple of sitters which is very unlike him...for the most part he's ruthless as hell.....so much so that i've this impression of him as some sort of evil arrogant dickhead off the field...

Some aspects of his game needs to improve though. At the moment he reminds me of the days when i was a kid - there'd always be this one player who you thought was shit technically, and lacking skill, but somehow had pace and could score tonnes of goals.

Love him to bits and long may it continue

Another obscure random signing on the cheap that's turning into a hero already.

Fergie's signings this season have been absolutely brilliant. All we need now is a £5 million midfielder.

My favourite little bit of action from him today besides the goal was his movement for the Valencia bullet cross, he made Alex look like a mug.

With Smalling and Hernandez's contributions this season, you wouldn't bet against Bebe emulating Ronaldo's 07/08 season next year.

2010 - the Summer of

And the rubbing of his own head afterwards. It was like him heading a canon bullet away, rather than a football. I lol'ed.

Chicarito has turned what seemed to be heading for a mediocore season into ono of our most exciting ever seasons. I compared him to a few world class strikers at the start of the season and got slated for it even though he was already looking class.
Never could have dreamed he would make the impact he made though. What a bonus

This been done?

Javier Hernandez
A scorer with 13 of his 23 shots on target in the Premier League this season, the Mexican is the critical goalscorer in reserve that Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester City and Tottenham have not possessed. Hernandez's haul, for illustration, is only two less than the combined goalscoring tally for the league season of Fernando Torres (1)*, Nicolas Anelka (6), Nicklas Bendtner (2), Emmanuel Adebayor (1), Edin Dzeko (1) and Jermain Defoe (4).

6m against almost 100m :D

To think that our squad only needed Hernandez and Smalling to make a difference is incredible work by Fergie
