I dont even think he needs to get that much better at this point. I think he is the finished article. Love everything about him, hopefully he stays content as No 3 that is the only potential problem at this point..

I m sure he will be content. He will be because he is still young. If he was around 27 years old, then we might have a problem on our hands but not now. And he also knows he is the first choice striker to be used if we need a goal or if we rest someone or if someone gets injured.

Will he be content, when Real or Barca or the like come sniffing: Hopefully, he realizes like Ole that one game at United is worth ten at another club, unlike Scarface.

isn't that an own goal?

9 goals, boo yeah!

Well done Chicha

I do not think he is arrogant, no. I like attitude.

But on the last page, there were people suggesting one of Rooney or Berbatov should be dropped for Hernandez. That is over the top praise. Rooney and Berbatov are far superior footballers. Could Hernandez produce a performance like Berbatov and Rooney did against Blackburn? I think the answer is obvious.

Ruud was a better player than both Berbatov and rooney. Yet on the ball he wasn't as good. Better on the ball doesn't necessarily make you a better footballer.

I thought he had a good game last night, he's a natural goal scorer as we know but his work that led to Nani's goal was also excellent and I think there is more to come. Given his age and short time he has been here he has done remarkably well.

Cracking finish from a cracking little player. I thought he would struggle against sides like Stoke, who quite literally try to kick him out of the game. But he has a fantastic temperament, never retaliates and does his talking on the pitch, gets up straight away and works his socks off to score. Brilliant talent and at his age we should have years of service.

Looking at that, I'm wondering what Shawcross was thinking, sliding in full-pelt like that.

Suppose Chicharito had decided to control the ball; shielded against it like that, there's no way Shawcross is getting to it.

Automatic pen and sending off, surely?

A bit typical of Shawcross though. It was virtually impossible for Hernandez to score from that, but he found a way. Fantastic finisher we got on our hands, and looks like he got the attitude to go with it.

As for Ryan, he strikes me as that kind of CB. Jamie Carragher-school of defending, which earn him a lot of praise, but about every sliding tackle he makes is the result of a situation that he could have avoided easily by being in the right place to start with. How often do you see Rio slide tackle? Or Cannavaro and Nesta at their peaks?

Sick finish that... we've seen similar ones from Scholes and Giggs make it onto their highlight reels, but this one was far more a matter of margin.

Off the chin to compound a win against Chelsea in the Community Shield, check... Back of the head, check... off the heel nutmegging the Stoke defender, check...

and to think: I thought I'd seen it all after Ronnie knocked one in off his c*ck.

It's an absolutly brilliant goal, brilliantly executed. As a player myself I know how unbelievably difficult it is to do that when the ball is coming at you at such a speed AND with a defender in your back.

Love the lad so much excited to see what the future holds hes a bloody gem

If you think some of you are getting carried away, you should see the mexican media. According to some, he's already even better than Hugo Sanchez at his peak.

Thank god he is not here anymore and is a humble lad with a good family that help him keep the feet on the ground.

He is indeed quite good, he is.

Yes, I am, plenty of them with Chicharito 14 on the back. Pisses me off that when I go out with a United shirt/jacket people tell me "Chicharito" just because I'm wearing the shirt or any other item. Gets tiring after some time. The Chicharomania here is actually driving me a bit mad, to be honest.

I've seen loads and loads of Mexican's at OT since he got here, For one of the games (for which he was an unused sub) there were about 40 of them behind me chanting Chicarito all game. Stank of Corona.

He had a moment on Sunday where he jigged past at least 4 defenders but couldn't find a way through. I would say his all round game is spot on. His link up play is irrelevant, as long as he is in the right place at the right time (which he always seems to be) he will do fine.
