yep

from the official site
11:28 One of our Mexican journalist contacts, Emor Villa, is rounding up press coverage of Chicharito back in his homeland for our Spanish site. He has just emailed me this photo of the front pages of yesterday's newspapers in Mexico. They went crazy over his match-winning contribution on Sunday, especially that remarkable header. (JT)

The more I watch that the more I laugh.

He doesn't give a shit how it goes in does he?! Face, back of head, whatever! As long as it gets in the net. Pure striker.

whats the chance his 'perfect hattrick' will be one of the face, one of the ass, and one of his back.

I love a player who will bundle them in any way required and can improvise in the 6yard box.

Legend!

Ideally, hernandez should have joined us for 25 million after his agent and the press linked us (and ten other clubs ) to him for about year. In the meantime he would have become an FM legend, have a 10,000 post + thread on the caf.

Not to mention half a dozen caftards admitted to hospital during the ******** that took place when the news of the transfer was announced...

Exactly. Some people (not everyone) wont be happy untill we spash the cash and get a 'big name' player or 2. Personally I would always prefer this type of deal. Get a young lad with bundles of potential and give him the OT masterclass in how to become a great.

Hes scored agains

Spain
Argentina
France
Valencia
Man Utd
Chelsea
Holland

He is racking the goals up.

The other thing to point out was the fact that he was the shortest in there by a long shot.

Wilson who is man marking him is 6 foot 2, Huth is in there and he's a monster at 6 foot 3 then Jones and Faye are there and both 6 feet 2.

Hernandez is the first to react and get up to the ball and just 5 foot 9  That's 5 or 6 inches shorter than them.

If you watch that goal. Hernandez does a full 360 around the statuesque Wilson who does not move.

He is always on the go whether he has the ball or not and comes alive in the box like the great Ruud.

Yep. It just goes to show you that awareness and good movement go a long way to winning headers in the box.

This is going to sound gayer than intended but he has thighs like tree-trunks which no doubt enable him to outjump guys several inches taller than him.

He's a very deceptive player is Hernandez. There's more to him than meets the eye and I don't think the surprises are over just yet.

hells yeah. the United way.

Yeah, he starts moving towards where he thinks the ball is going to end up before Vidic heads it. Brilliant awareness (though he read it a few inches wrong).

One should be off the dick as well.

You should really check out the movement for his second goal as well. When Berbs was moving with the ball, he was constantly watching him and adjusting his position. Kind of awareness we have seen in Ruud.

This is not intended as a general comparison as that would be absurd but Hernadez' ability to get up for headers reminds me of the one and only King, whose ability to outjump centre backs much taller than him was legendary.

Without a doubt, an exciting prospect and a crowd favourite in the making.

Bloody hell, they're almost Stuart Pearce like.

Hung like a horse? Not like scholesy.

In all seriousness, I appreciate it's early days, but two of the signings used by people to demonstrate that we are signing second class players (Hernandez and smalling) seem to be fitting in very nicely indeed. Perhaps fergie knows what he's doing after all.......

Was chatting to my Arsenal supporting mate earlier and he really rates him.

Hernandez is a great prospect, everyone agrees on that but he's still one for the future. Smalling looks very promising from what I've seen and so does Bebe in his very brief appearances. The point is these guys are all for the future - what about now ? That's where the problem lies and one which must be pretty clear to many at the club - not just Rooney.

It's about to change (I presume) as the Glazers have committed themselves to making funds (the budget) available to sign players who will improve the team now - ie in the next two transfer windows. We'll see.

Surprisingly good. He might one day be like Ronaldo of strikers and we might sell him for 100 mil to Madrid.
