I'm not sure how long his contract is. But they better draw up a better one next year and make sure he is not off to Real or summat.
Such an exciting talent, his all round play today was very good and he's a constant threat, a very instinctual and natural striker, can't wait to see more.

He reminds me more of Owen than anyone, but I can see where you're coming from with that. I used to think of Law as one of those players who always somehow managed to sneak in between the defenders, whereas Hernandez seems to position himself more.
Who knows, maybe he's going to turn out to be a sort of cross between Owen and Law. Can only be good for us if he does.

If you look way back when he signed and I talked about seeing him play in the states I said the one thing that worried me about him was his build and how physical the PL is. It looks now like he has definitely started to improve on that playing against one of the most physical and biggest teams in the league. I think he will be a world class player in the next few years.
I think physically he's fine. He spends a bit of time on the ground, but unlike Nani it's not clutching his face, and gets up straight away most of the time. I think the one area he needs to improve are his little give and go passes.
He sort of just leaves them there....couple of times today, they went straight to an opponent, but even this HAS improved since the start of the season.
I'm very pleased, I wanted 10 from him in all comps...barring injury and with a bit of luck, he might get 10 just in the PL.
9 appearances, 5 goals... now if you consider how many of those appearances were coming on as a sub in the last 10 mins makes it all the more impressive.

Interviewer after the game asked SAF about his attitude and how he just got on with stuff even with the physicality. I think Mariner was very forgiving of Stoke but, good point in that he just got up.
Also, boss said he is training hard and every morning is working on his upper body. Good thing - that is the one part I've seen he needs work on - strength to compete against these CBs that will otherwise push him around.

Seems like Scholes and the likes are finally starting to notice his runs. Didn't pay off today but maybe next time.

Most like a young Owen in my eyes. Great eye for goal, this lad could be absolutely class for us.

I'm in the Solskjaer comparison camp. He just knows exactly where to be, and he'll get you that all-important late winner. Great stuff from him today.
Even the fact that, like Ole, he came to us relatively unknown and for a relatively low fee.
I liked how none of the players seemed to care, just carried on as normal.
More like an explosive Solskjaer for me, the clean connection he makes on his first time shots is very reminiscent.
Could have been a hat trick if it weren't for that slow witted linesman. I'm starting to get a wee bit excited about this little pea, he certainly made me happy when the sky was gray
