at home with an extra man for about an hour they really should have. you get a good look at venezuelas goals? i was watching on my computer and they had chilean miner rescue coverage on the bottom corner for the whole match. didnt get to see them clearly but im thinking the mexican keeper should've kept them out.

Should be starting every game alongside Berbatov until Rooney proves his worth

Got himself into good positions quite a few times but the pass didn't come, I'm liking this kid more and more.

Something that supprises you about him is his leap, there were times yesterday when he was towering ahead of 6 ft + defenders which was pretty impressive. Tad bit inconsistant with his link up play but it was probably his first start with Berba so that will come in time

Sadly right now our attackers seem to be able to find the net but the defenders are eager to wash that off

Another great find by our scouting team - this kid must already be worth double of what we paid for him.

I noticed that he has an incredible leap for a shorty - often winning headers against much bigger players.

Edit: OneUnited24 beat me to it!

I lost count of how many runs he made behind the defence and they never looked for the pass.

Hopefully he'll get more time on the pitch and we can get a settled midfield to start anticipating his runs, once they click together he could be deadly.

What a poor signing. We should have signed Douglas Costa.

So said the wannabe football scouts in the summer. VoetballWizard, you daft prick.

I don't really recall much negativeness towards Chichagoal, from the youtube clips, we certainly saw how good he can actually be...

I really like Chicha, but certainly he isn't a finished article...

I'm sure if he utilizes his pace correctly, come up with more consistent link-up play + wing play, we're talking about a potentially world class striker here...

I don't want to overhype him but his performances these past 6 months suggests the lad is clearly a goal machine.

He looks a terrific player in the making. Has all the attributes of a great striker and will be more effective once he bulks up a bit more. That added strength is needed in the EPL. He has pace, a shot with either foot and, for one of comparatively small stature, can jump prodigiously - making him a danger in the air.

I'm just wondering if Fergie has decided that his best twosome upfront is a Berbatov/ Hernandez combo, that they compliment each other and that our hitherto best player is now expendable unless he agrees to commit to United on the clubs terms - not his ?

So Chicharito is first choice far earlier than he would have thought possible

Berbatov-Hernandez will win us a trophy this year, there's no doubt in my mind.

It's a blow, but these two as a partnership has the ability to be productive.

Onwards and upwards.

When you throw Macheda and Welbeck into the mixer, we have some very talented striking options.

Chicharitoooooooooooooooooooo I love you, you little lesbiano!

Someone in think thread (i think it was this one) said Chicharito was Rooney's replacement. I laughed at that claim at the time. I wish I could still laugh about it :(

However talented these 4 might be we really will need to bring in a new striker now
