just walk away - we are united and we do things our way . Actually, I appreciate how City has been doing this very effectively and still being a success.
How it's going to go through when there's absolutely no reason for BVB to budge away from their demands? Feels like wishful thinking at this moment.
For a selling club they’re desperate to not be seen as a selling club for some reason. Despite knowing Sancho won’t play his best years with them they’re still acting like they’re Madrid refusing to sell to PSGI agree with this to be fair. Disappointing if we sign Sancho but Dortmund/Zorc, true to form, cannot help themselves in the midst of a transfer wrangle.
Always arrogant, petulant and unhelpful. Have we ever been like that when selling a player? Heck, are many clubs for that matter? Yet Dortmund are, without fail.
Small-time, self-obsessed wankers.
Not looking good at all. Not sure why our relationship with Dortmund is bad.
Because he isn't saying nice things? People have to understand that this is a dynamic situation. Every day things change and there are new developments.Fabrizio Romano is beginning to piss me off.. so much so that if it was up to me he'd be dropped a tier
"negotiations in advanced stage" is not the same as a done deal (you already know that). Things can go wrong. So Romanos narrative goes from ”negotiations in advanced stage” to “the clubs don’t have a good relationship, and United might walk away”?
Top journalism there, Fabrizio.
Tbf, they do come across as a bunch of wankers in this whole ordeal.I think he means as a result of the Zorc statement / Dortmund's insistence on having intermediaries structure the deal.
Well, it is a small time club who think of themselves very highly for some reason, yet players use them as a stepping stone. Must be the inferiority complex which has made them this way.I agree with this to be fair. Disappointing if we sign Sancho but Dortmund/Zorc, true to form, cannot help themselves in the midst of a transfer wrangle.

We have to sign someone even if it's a stop gap before we come back to this deal.Right genuine question. Say if this doesn’t happen, who are the alternatives we can turn to? Bayern aren’t selling or loaning Coman, Dembele is too risky and injury prone even on a loan. Douglas Costa is half garbage. Do we stick with Dan James hoping he will eventually turn out good? We have to simply sign a proper right winger this year
Agree, I am actually very confused on this. If its just about 10m , think we should just pay up.That's because City have a fairly settled 11 that's able to challenge for top honors (without buying anyone new) and in Pep they have a coach that could perhaps get about 10% more out of you. Also the workings of transfers is very different from the way United operate.

We hope the front 3 can managed 50 starts a piece.
And if not hope to get by with a ramshackle mixof Mata, Lingard, James and Pereira. Erm, like this season!
No alternative improves the first XI like Jadon would, but they would be a lot cheaper and you can at least then say "OK, we can go for Grealish and a CB and another". Whereas if we got Sancho maybe we'd only get 1 other?Right mate but any names? I know we aren’t scouts but surely there’s a couple of good and attainable ones out there. I have heard about Chiesa and Sarr but i am not even entirely sure they will improve the first team like Jadon would
I don't think Dortmund are necessarily looking for 120 million Euros up front. They just weren't satisfied with the 60 million Euros that we are offering right now (figure according to Daniel Harris). They just want a more favourable pay structure that gives them more of the 120 million Euros up front. Can someone explain me why is so important to Dortmund to get 120 in cash. Transfer always were payed through years and it was good for books also.
In this post covid time want 120mil in cash is ridiculous. As i said, i will not blame Ed if this deal fails (but i will if he pays what they want after two months)

Sounds quite depressing. Greenwood also isn’t starting 50 games next season. Rashford will have to manage carefully with his back problems too
Dortmund have been distasteful, its not a matter of money. They claim a fake deadline, and then force a 3rd party negotiator which slows down the process. Then they make noise about how they plan for Sancho when they are blatantly still continuing with this negotiation "unofficially". This is not normal - Hirst said we had a cordial relationship with Dortmund and Mkhitaryan was straight forward and direct. Their approach is bemusing.Because we keep thinking we can swoop in and take their best players under the value Dortmund place on them?

Who knows. I think the question is still redundant as we rarely (if ever) miss out on a player who want, and who who wants us too.

He literally never said that.Hang on he was saying it was very close 10 days ago. The guy is clearly full of shit.
