No idea why the knobhead sign a contract extension in the first place.
Yes, it's not helped matters and may well put his move back a year.

Money mate. Who doesn't want more money?
Is that a bee or what? I can't make out what it is but i have to say it's funny

I actually think the £108 million quoted in football terms is a decent price, covid or no covid.
I don't think that is the case here. Dortmund sold Dembele for 120 who was not near on the level of Sancho at that moment. Ed just can't win among fans.Woodward must regret saying "We can do things in the market that other clubs can only dream of!" a few years ago.
Such a stupid thing to say, gives selling clubs leverage. (No way would Dortmund ask any other club for £100m. They'd let Bayern have him for a cheese toastie, even if Bayern forgot the cheese) - but we never get a big deal done until the very brow of the transfer window.
He's worth every penny and then some.
Also, the effects of Covid on a multibillion company like United would be minimal at best, barely a drop in the ocean. Dortmund will be very much aware of this.
Jesus.
Well that’s just wrong, it won’t be a drop in the ocean come on.He's worth every penny and then some.

Do you dispute this?

I think it's pretty clear that so far BVB have steamrolled us on the PR front.
Do you dispute this?
Exactly what can uniteds pr team actually do?!Well considering Utd can hardly post stuff about another team's player, it wouldn't exactly be hard, would it?
I read many posts from Dortmund fans (not on here) who really believe the deal is off for this season, which is silly or delusional. At this point the only real deadline is the closure of the transfer window. But I also read others saying Dortmund would be stupid not selling him for the asking price of 120M. I think it's still more likely to go through this summer than not.

It's a short term increase which can easily prevent a transfer this summer. The increased wages doesn't cover the downside of delaying the transfer by another year.

I agree with that, but that’s not what you said in your original post.A club like United draws most of their income through commercial and broadcasting revenue. They would have been affected, of course, but to a considerably lesser extent compared to the smaller clubs who survive solely on matchday revenue simply to stay afloat.
Do you think we'd even be considering the quoted fee from Dortmund otherwise?
Can't be bothered to look for your imaginary sources, yesterday you thought it was likely that a deal was concluded but we were keeping quiet about it.
Based upon the Dortmund/Bundesliga supporters in this thread, yes.Thats what fans love. Increasing a players value tenfold.

Why are Bayern fans sticking up for Dortmund? They should be glad we snatch Sancho away. It's like we would be happy if Madrid were in for De Bruyne and they wouldn't get him, or Barcelona for Salah.
