I think United will give him a very lucrative pay packet which will likely be higher than our rivals which could be advantageous. Also our need for Sancho is greater than others and Sancho will see that with the way we have pursued him since he was at City, with the player at the time wanting to join us, only for City to block the move, hence him joining Dortmund after.Yep. His dribbling and passing ability means he's just as comfortable terrorising fullbacks on the flanks, as he is playing in tight spaces centrally. He's a dream of a player and if we can get him, we absolutely should. The problem is that as a football project, we leave a lot to be desired and, as explained above, our financial advantage relative to our rivals, is somewhat diminished.
We're one decent transfer window away from having a very competitive team and Sancho will know that. It's also been reported that if Sancho returns to England his preference is to join Man Utd.
I don't normally agree on going huge for a single target. But for Sancho a exception has to be made imo. I'd rather sign VVD for huge money than sign Lindelof and Bailly for slightly less. The same applies for Sancho in this regard imo.
