Im still confident this will happen. Because if reports are to be believed we pretty much offered what they wanted in 120m but it’s been in add-ons. I know Utd are stupid at times but I’m sure they’re not that stupid that they would put in unrealistic add-ons like Sancho winning the World Cup. The fact that we’ve already been willing to do it with the price using add-ons, I just don’t see how we won’t switch it to guaranteed payments. Utd won’t walk away from this regardless of the stories leaking about us looking for alternatives.
If Ole decides the transfers there’s absolutely no way Bale or Costa are coming to Utd.

Us not going for Sancho would be fine if we had literally anyone else lined up as a viable option, but we're sat here with our finger up our arse yet again and our season starts this week. Why can't we get deals done? Ed is a fraud.
This will get done late in the window if Sancho wants to ask for it to be done, or if Dortmund decide actually they would be happy with 90m plus add ons. I'm not sure United will pull the trigger at full price , especially given how stupid it would make us look.... In the end we lowered the quoted prices on Maguire by 10m and Bruno by what ? 15m from memory ? So that is probably the kind of haggling that is going on

One possible outcome I can definitely see is us trying to string this deal along for another week or two, and panic loan in one of those names. It’s a travesty how the club seems to stop backing managers the second they get top 4.

Same,my only concern is on Dortmunds side but they've been adament about refusing bids/not selling before before doing just that In the very recent past so still hoping they're mainly chatting shit and would bite our hand off if they get the fee they've been adament about at any point.
They also have a few weeks left in their window since its the same deadline for everyone this year so they'd still have some time if they needed a replacement.

Oh I absolutely believe that. That is such a Woodward thing to do. Agree a deal which seemed too easy and then go back and try and get it lower. That’s another reason why I feel we will get this done. We already pretty much agreed a deal.
The fact we were so close to a deal, Dortmund know we are able to pay up. Thats probably why they imposed the deadline when Utd started messing about!
So, doesn’t look like Sancho is imminent.

Sancho bellingham and haaland- all players they’ve outfoxed us on and posters criticise the way Dortmund is run and their sporting ambition? Wake up guys. It’s Uniteds recruitment that’s all over the place. The only really good bit of business they’ve done recently is Bruno and they dithered and tried their very best to mess that up too.

I really dont know why anybody is surprised at this stage. Its the same shit. Glazers got top 4 so wont invest until we fall out of it again. Ed can pretend he is going for top targets by briefing the media that its close and he is trying. He would of known full well they wouldn't accept his low ball offer. Director of football will be wheeled out soon.
Woodward will now bid for bale or perisic and brief the media about how stubborn bvb were in the negotiations. Sad truth is we probably never had any intention of bidding for him and the media circus was created to show the fans that Woodward is working hard.
