Jadon Sancho - Chelsea (loan) watch

The ‘good start’ at Chelsea has been blown way out of proportion. A couple of basic assists and the occasional moment. He’s such a fair weather player who I feel confident will be a damp squib for Chelsea.

Unreliable, lacking any kind of intensity, very bog-standard PL winger that won’t produce elite level consistency.

Anybody looking to create a narrative that he was he’s been a player reborn is just looking for attention and clicks. I did think his cameo debut at Bournemouth was excellent, and he was good at home vs Brighton but apart from that he hasn’t done anything noteworthy. He was terrible vs Liverpool. So overall a very mixed bag. Some good, some bad, some average.
basically epitomises Sancho as a player.

What a terrible player. Thanks again Chelsea. A worldie performance against erm Noah tonight changes nothing btw

Didn't he struggle with a persistently recurring ear infection?

Incoming joke about his gaming earpiece

still laughing at the bozos in here who wet themselves when he got a couple of flukey assists while playing terribly. Nowhere to be found since, as expected

£25m was a cracking deal… for United obviously.

Managed to get his ridiculous wages off the books as well

He’s gonna struggle to shift Neto
Madueke's form has fallen off and Mudryk hasn't impressed. He'll likely get half an hour in their next game, if he does well the manager may bench Madueke. I don't think any wide position is a lock for anyone at Chelsea this season. Whoever is in form will just start.

Thank God it's an obligation deal, he's not going to be anything above a rotation option. He lacks discipline, mentality and physicality.

Great deal for us, I didn't think we would be able to get his wages off the books.

Selling a player for a £50 million loss isn't a great deal.

Chelsea certainly don't need him though, even if he was on a free, let alone £20-£25 mil.

It's not a great deal but I was resigned to him being here for a few more years stinking the place up, going on numerous underwhelming loans before finally leaving on a free.

To get rid of him and at least get £20-£25m is at least something.

The price that was initially paid is a sunk cost. Getting rid of him was a great deal.

If you want to ignore all context then sure, it wasn't a good deal.

In reality getting 15p would have been a result.

It is when you put on perspective the level and wages of the player. 25M is a very good deal. If we were offered the same for Antony wouldn't you take it?

Interesting question though.
Out of all the transfers between the clubs which has been the best/worst for either club?
For me we criminally misused mata. He could/should have been a legend here.

Honestly, I can see him falling out of the top leagues, ending up even lardier and playing in the Indian Super League or something.

At this rate, they might even be desperate enough to take Rashford
