Maybe good man Joel will pay the extra 10mil out of his dividends (pocket). I hear he loves the club and will never let it go.

Swiss Ramble said our revenues are likely to be lower than Liverpool and City this year due to the Chevrolet deal being extended for 50% less and no Matchday revenue. We’d have to structure it creatively and maybe Dortmund aren’t playing ball.

I am 100 percent convinced it’ll happen still, but it literally could be anytime knowing us, could be weeks and weeks away, or tonight.

I’m basically saying, just to be safe it’s Sancho Day every day.

To be honest you were super convinced last season as well.

To be honest, it's only Jan that's spitting this crap out. He said the other day a new bid has gone in then later on in the day he said nothing new is happening.

He doesn't have a clue and due to no updates in the past few days he's just trying to keep everything going. He's not stupid, he knows negative news will keep the United fans hooked. He's no more of clue of what's going on than we do.

I know, It looks like most of these journalists actually have no clue what's going on but have to tweet about Sancho to stay relevant. Its the only thing that gives them retweets and likes.

We just have to wait and see really what the club do.

And yet that hasn't translated to quality England performances has it? He's got like 20 caps now and hasn't really shone in most of them.

So what?
Paul Scholes always played second fiddle to Lampard & Gerrard, who cares, he was utterly priceless for United.
What about Michael Carrick..?
Not much of an England career, fantastic United career though.

Spot on

It's stupid because people take the negative news as gospel truth and as soon as anything positive comes out, it's all rubbish. If there was anything to report others would be reporting it. This is pretty much Jan's opinion on things, he just adds "the feeling in Dortmund is" to make it seem like he has a clue. Wish he'd just stay quiet but he knows he needs to keep himself relevent

Memphis to Barca and Donnarumma had his medical with PSG but still not officially announced.

Memphis/Wijnaldum. But they were transfer free to be honest.

OK cheers. Just wondering if we'd want a marquee signing to go through whilst all the attention is away from the club. Trying to think of when a 'statement' signing has been made discreetly.

This guy a joke.
He's still denying a second bid went in even after he said himself it had earlier in the day. Why do we even give this guy any kind of attention, he's clearly a bullshitter of the highest order
Yeah, I too thought he had accepted that a second bid was put in.

Yeah, I too thought he had accepted that a second bid was put in.
He did say a new improved bid had gone in then put to be continued... went quiet for the rest of the day then posted that there was no new info and no movement since our first rejected bid.

Even Berger who said originally that no new bid had gone in retracted that and corrected himself saying a new bid HAD gone in but then added that it wasn't enough for Dortmund, yet they've not rejected it as of yet.

Simple fact is, neither of them know anything worthwhile and it's all guesswork and opinion on their side

Maybe the Bundesliga is absolutely crap. Timo Werner was devastating in that league too. Look how he's got on at Chelsea. Already they are looking to upgrade.

Sancho is a good player don't get me wrong however I think some of our fans have fallen into the trap of thinking he's a world beater. When and if he comes to the PL and faces teams who just park the bus his numbers are going to fall dramatically.
Just to debunk the thing I keep reading about his national team stats...

Sancho has 914 minutes total for England, equivalent of 10 matches. He had 3 goals and 5 assists in those minutes, or 114 minutes per goal or assist.

Sterling as a comparison has played 4631 minutes, with 16 goals and 22 assists, or 121.86 minutes per goal or assist.

Foden has 532 minutes with 2 goals and 2 assists, or 133 minutes per goal or assist.

Rashford has 2143 minutes, 12 goals and 6 assists, or 119 minutes per goal or assist.

Saka has 482 minutes, 1 goal and 1 assist, or 241 minutes per goal or assist.

Grealish has 573 minutes with 0 goals and 3 assists, or 191 minutes per goal or assist.

So if we're going off productivity for the national team, Sancho has outproduced all of his peers on a per minute basis. Rashford 2nd. Sterling 3rd. Foden 4th. Grealish 5th. Saka 6th.

It's not a trap. Sancho literally is "a world beater". He's up there with the very best in the world when it comes to being a creative wide player. And he scores plenty of goals to boot. And he's shown it since he was 18.

Literally the only metric where he's outperformed by the others in the national team, and likely why he isn't playing, are his defensive stats. The only one. He doesn't provide much in terms of pressing/tracking back and is better left in attack to initiate counters. Rashford isn't great at it either and likely why he hasn't played much. And that's a Southgate thing, and picking based on the defensive work rate rather than what they can do in attack is why England have had like 5 shots on target in 3 games but also only conceded about the same. Which is fine, up to him. But don't make it out like Sancho is playing in some easy league. Grealish was in the championship until he was almost 24. Didn't exactly light it up a crazy amount in that time.

Wouldn’t it be amazing if the next so called “update” from these fecking attention seeking bluffers like Jan and Romano was met with absolutely zero response? No replies, no likes, no retweets, just allow it to slowly fade away into nothingness where it belongs. Not that it will ever happen, too many muppets around(myself included)

Could be but at the same time I think it’s more likely that we know Dortmund need the Sancho cash before they can spend this summer so we are holding out to see who blinks first.

We have to factor in other acquisitions and what they might be costing, one no doubt affects the other.

Stop wasting time and move on to the next target then.

“we can do things in the market other clubs can’t”

Yeah, okay.

I can't remember any other club reenact the same transfer saga two years on a row, we really do do things in the market other clubs can't ;)

Hmm, think I have to change my normal one to

Big day today.

Bit rich from his "sources" saying we don't have the funds. They can't do anything without selling one of their players, so it's a touch rich (ironically).

pretty sure we're fine for the funding.

Whether we think the funding (i.e. the price) is an acceptable amount is another question
I agree

We're fine and could pay, negotiations will be happening, but they're not going fast enough for Jan here... he needs to keep these desperate United fans on his twitter feed. Simple fact is there will be little to report, so he's just tweeting random crap to keep himself relevant. If/when a deal is agreed, he'll twist it saying "things happened very very quickly" etc.

Are Dortmund still considering this bid that we made a while ago now?
Did we write it in Egyptian Hyroglifics? Are they trying to decipher it to see what we've actually offered? Seems to have gone very very quiet!

As United fans we are used to the preparing a bid phase, not so much the considering a [received] bid. Seems that considering takes just as long as preparing.

I actually think Dortmund's bluff is there to be called this summer, within reason.

Sancho clearly wants the move, and it's obvious how much clubs' finances have been impacted the past 18 months.

Even if they kept Sancho another year, they will lose both him and Haaland in the same window for way less than they'd have liked.

They can be as firm and noble as they want, they'll be majorly screwed in 12 months if they don't sell Sancho this summer. It's clear no-one else is in for him either. We'd be mad to not negotiate.

I think forget Sancho, United should do a cheeky bid of 100m plus Martial for Mbappe.

If he does join, he better start like a house on fecking fire after all this effort.

40 goals and assists please
