Hope Bournemouth can get 25 PL games out of him, should be enough to keep them out of trouble

Regardless of how good a move for him this is personally, you kind of get that this is the end of his time at arsenal.

I'd be delighted if I were a Bournemouth fan. Massive boost to the club. Bags of talent but injuries preventing him from showing it.

Plus if you've got injury problems and you're not first choice then you can end up almost never playing for one reason or another.

Yes he could be the difference for Bournemouth between being relegated and not, if he can stay fit.

He goes to Milan and makes an impact he has restored his reputation, if it doesn't work he will still be highly regarded in England, same with Roma. He goes to Bournemouth and does well it impresses no-one because he's playing for a team happy to avoid relegation.

You're completely missing the point of this loan move. It isn't about impressing anyone with a daft move to Milan, it's about playing regular football and coming back to Arsenal ready to start next season.

Good move for him and Bournemouth. Playing a full season in the premier league for any club is great experience if he has ambitions to make it back to Arsenal. Just has to stay fit now and show what he can do.

Turning down Roma and AC Milan to play for Bournemouth seems bizarre on paper. He probably thought he wouldn't get a lot of games at Milan with all the midfield players they have. He could have gone to Roma though. It would have been good for him to also be away from the English press. Another English player turns down the opportunity to play abroad when the chance arises. Strange.

I think you've got Roma and Milan mixed up.

i dont see whats strange him turning down Milan or Roma for Bournemouth. If either were in the CL that would be another story, but neither are or will come close to winning the league. At least at Bournemouth they play the football he can slot straight into.

All this turning down Roma... nobody taking the Beeb's word for it I assume?

It's a good decision. Why would you want to sit in a hospital where no one speaks the language? Taken from Twitter

I would have liked to see him abroad (like that has happened with Hart) but if his options were AS Roma (Arsenal have rejected their offer and they have anyway a strong midfield) and AC Milan (Who knows if Montella is still their coach in a few weeks) then Bournemouth were his best option.

Fantastic signing for Bournemouth. Utterly bizarre move for Wilshere himself though.

Was he really linked with Milan?

What's the point of moving to Milan though? They aren't in Europa or CL, they aren't even 10% of what they were before and would probably end up not even challenging for the title.

Might as well stay in the country then.
