I always forget that he's an ex-Dortmund player.
I think the system allows for Rashford and Martial to rotate as strike partners with Griezmann, Peresic isn't good enough to be anything much but at least in this system we'd focus more on his defending.
Yes, it allows Rashford and Martial to play as strike partners for Griezmann, neither can lead the line but I think both would thrive in a 2, so if we must buy a mediocre winger then we might as well get the most out of his best asset which is his defensive workrate and play a system that allows our 2 brightest young forwards to get regular game time without another #9 being bought.
He isn't? Watch his goal vs Cameroon for instant then come back here.He thinks he's faster than Rashford..
Perišić on one wing, Mickhi or Rashford on the other, Griezmann behind a striker. It could work.Perisic is a more of a traditional winger. He will hug the line more then Mkhitaryan/Martial so he would give us some width and at 6ft2 he's got the inches Mou is so obsessed with in midfield. Mou would also expect Martial to shadow him and hopefully become the winger Mou wants. I think we need a Perisic type of player as we're too narrow at times.
Perisic signing is food for thought. With a more traditional winger in the team is Mou going to rely on Griezmann as our lone striker? Or would we be playing Griezmann as an SS with someone like Belotti/Lukaku upfront? I think we'll go for the latter option
Exactly, one shit tweet and all hell broke loose. I don't get it. Silly season I guess.I really doubt this premiumsport source, if it had any legs on it, other italian channels including sky italy, di marzio and even tancredi would have gotten in on it. Looks like agent created to get him a move or maybe just rehashed old BS.

Is Perisic better than Martial then? I'm talking about the Martial that we all know he's capable of too.I think it would be something like that

Mkhitaryan-------Griezmann?-------------Perisic

That looks good tbh. And we all hope Martial will have a better season too.I think it would be something like that

He ran equally fast as some player called Nounkeu, is that going to convince me that he's faster than Rashford? You're deluded. Perisic' pace (acceleration/sprint speed) in Football Manager is 16/15 and 82/87 in FIFA whereas Rashford's pace is 18/17 and 91/90. Point me to another one on this forum that agrees with you that Perisic is faster than Rashford. He isn't? Watch his goal vs Cameroon for instant then come back here.
Fifa and Football Manager. You win, I give up...He ran equally fast as some player called Nounkeu, is that going to convince me that he's faster than Rashford? You're deluded. I'm not saying who is the fastest here, but did you really use FM stats to back up your claim as being gospel? He ran equally fast as some player called Nounkeu, is that going to convince me that he's faster than Rashford? It's hard to compare their pace in any other objective way. When the professionals at EA and SI agree on something they're usually correct. Ask anyone on this forum then and see who they think is faster. You realize you're the only one here saying that? It's crazy. He's fast but he's definitely not as fast as Rashford let alone faster.Fifa and Football Manager. You win, I give up...
Using Fifa and FM to back up your claim is downright silly. It's hard to compare their pace in any other objective way. When the professionals at EA and SI agree on something they're usually correct. The databases are highly serious and a number of clubs are using the FM database as a scouting tool. Obviously they aren't always accurate but it's the only objective way of comparing their pace that I could think of.The feck?seriously?
What does that meanSure, sure...
How did you measure ones speed in these stats? For instance, how many points are equal to what MPH/KPH?Gospel?
I think it's fair to use FIFA and FM as arguments when arguing about pace, when they're both are in agreement that is. I've worked as a data editor for EA myself editing player stats for my local team and I know how much they strive to have a database as accurate as possible. It's a better argument than Ban showing me a video of Perisic running alongside a player I've never heard of.
That means I'm amused by your arguments. What does that mean
Doesn't work like that. A number of people agree on the stats using their opinions from watching the players. How did you measure ones speed in these stats? For instance, how many points are equal to what MPH/KPH?
Make them decrease Ronaldo's pace ASAP, he isnt the fastest anymore.Gospel?

So guess work then?Doesn't work like that. A number of people agree on the stats using their opinions from watching the players.
What do you think? Do you think the EA representatives bring in every player in the game to perform speed tests? So guess work then?
No I don't, which is exactly the point I was making, but thank you for saying it for me.What do you think? Do you think the EA representatives bring in every player in the game to perform speed tests?
Your claim just got even stronger!Doesn't work like that. A number of people agree on the stats using their opinions from watching the players.

I never claimed it as a fact by bringing in the FIFA and FM stats. You can't really factually determine pace in any other way than using guesswork as you like to put it. You can use those official top speed tests but you know how inaccurate they are.No I don't, which is exactly the point I was making, but thank you for saying it for me.
Which again why it is ridiculous you using these stats to back an argument up with imo. You have just admitted a bunch of people guess at them.
They make a living out of it so they're professionals by definition yes.Your claim just got even stronger!
They're professionals and they want their stats to be as accurate.
So....
They sit and use their opinions from watching the players.
That's really brilliant.
I've already said that it often works when both FM and FIFA are in agreement, not that it always works, especially not when they aren't in agreement.Memphis has like 90 pace on Fifa, it's not a great argument like.
It's a great job.I never claimed it as a fact by bringing in the FIFA and FM stats. You can't really factually determine pace in any other way than using guesswork as you like to put it. You can use those official top speed tests but you know how inaccurate they are.

How can you make fun of my arguments when yours is even worse, pointing me to a video that didn't show me anything. That's really amusingYour claim just got even stronger!

Not sure what you're on about now. It was a great job yes. It's a great job.
Professional stating his opinion after watching the player and then putting that opinion into a game.
And they get paid so much for that.
I make fun cause your claims are simply hilarious. And you just dig yourself even deeper. Keep going. How can you make fun of my arguments when yours is even worse, pointing me to a video that didn't show me anything. That's really amusing
you're genuinely making me laugh. I make an effort in having an objective discussion, whereas you don't and apparently you got offended since you're making this personal.I make fun cause your claims are simply hilarious. And you just dig yourself even deeper. Keep going.
Wait..you're genuinely making me laugh. I make an effort in having an objective discussion, whereas you don't and apparently you got offended since you're making this personal.
You're genuniely mad at me now aren't you? I didn't mean to offend you. It's fine to be a little patriotic, but you shouldn't really let yourself get emotional by having to defend fellow countryman on a football forum.Wait..
I make you laugh..
After all the nonsense that you wrote on this page.
Well, there is this little thing called watching a football match live or on tv. Also, on last EURO they measured speed and his numbers were in top 3. Better than Bale. It's hard to compare their pace in any other objective way.
