Hope we sign him, would add much needed width to our side.

I'm just going by this image, don't have Instagram myself so I can't confirm

That's all it looks like to me.

If I log in on my account its clear that he actually does follow all these United players, but instagram doesn't sort by recently followed in the same way that Twitter does. The only reason they're grouped like that in the first tweet is because the poster follows the United players too.

Difficult to work out if this is new or if he's already followed them before.

Don't be surprised if you now make it to sunday express news just like it's happened a month ago...

We dont like players asking for it e.g. Fabinho. Better for him to shut up and force Inter to let him go for a lower fee

He is doing everything i feel. He just changed his advisor , started hitting up with united team mates in Social media ect.. Alarm bells would be ringing for those at inter already. Only other thing he could do would be to hand in a transfer request.

Inter are some right cnuts. They dont need every penny, Mourinho was very successful for them and has good ties there and Perisic is behaving respectfully, still they want a ridiculous fee. They are entitled to it, but it is still quite funny how they sell other players for peanuts and insist on such a ridiculous fee. 40m is more than fair for a player and club happy to sell/get sold.

Cannot agree more. I think we were waiting for striker situation to resolve. Things should move faster and we should not pay more that 40m hopefully.

Good crosser of the ball? We're going to need that if Lukaku comes. It would be silly to waste one of his best attributes. Our other wide options aren't exactly great at crossing.

So needy.

I've got a bad feeling about him. I think he's going to be a Fellaini/Blind/Depay style signing where certain posters will take issue with him from the get go and scapegoat him.
That is offensive to Blind.

Rashford is VERY GOOD at crossing and I suspect he will be spending more time playing wide next season.

Great video by GAEBBA.

I am a big fan of Perisic. I think he will shock a lot of people here. He'll be a hit. I see him giving at least three solid seasons.

Good old fashioned traditional winger.
Run on the wings, beat opponents with pace and put in the cross. Simple.

He can chip in the goals now and then and he has bullets in both feet.

I struggle to think of five out and out wingers in the EPL better than him in the traditional winger's role.

I am of the same opinion. I haven't watched a lot of him but he seems to be a good winger. Seems to be very similar to Nani (in a good way) that he can't beat players easily and deliver with both feet. Ok he may be a bit expensive but he could be a good signing for us

If signing Perisic means Lingard won't be getting as many appearances as he did last season, then signing him should be our highest priority on that point alone! The thought of Lingard playing as much as he did last season proper scares the shit out of me.

Did you read why I put him in that bracket?
Yeah, and to be honest I'm not sure that he belongs there. The criticism they get aren't based on the same reasoning and I'm not even sure that we have Blind haters apart from a couple (but we have those for every player)

There was a period when he was the scapegoat and sections of the forum were on his case. It's based on exactly the same reasoning, only you disagree that it applies to Blind. That's just subjective.

So he plays on the left I gather?

Surely our right side was a more pressing issue?
It's true the right is more pressing issue, but I'm convinced Mourinho would use him on both wings. Perišić plays with both feet and Mourinho is used to having wrong-footed wingers (Di María at Real Madrid, for instance)

Great video by GAEBBA.

Some of the misses by Inter players from 5:20 onwards  Perisic will feel right at home here. Good stuff from Perisic from that point until the end of the video.

So how come his assists are horrible in the last 6 years? I'm not sure he is a better dribbler than Martial, he does not have the speed of Rashford, he is not as creative as Miki or better goal scorer than Mata. So he takes his marker on and puts a cross in. Would you expect more than 30 assists for 13000+minutes of play?

If he can play on the right just as effectively on the right it's not a problem, but that's a rarity.

I don't like players on their "correct" side, generally. Rashford and Martial have looked impotent when they've been shoved on the right.

Don't agree with Rashford looking worse on the right. But since Lukaku drops to the right, it will be unlikely Rashford to go there.

This is what worries me about this deal. I guess he could go out on the right, but maybe Mourinho has more faith in Mata on the right than Martial on the left.

Mourinho might have more faith in Mata, but surely not as a forward. Him and Mkhitaryan are playmakers on the wing. Perišić would be something in between, something we don't really have, a winger. All other we were connected to are right-wingers.

Looks like a fantastic player. Exciting as feck. Would be devastating for Jose imo.

Can come short, play one-two and get in behind. Real good movement. Good passing. Good vision. Can tuck inside and drive through the middle. Excellent crossing. The way he pegs back fullbacks is quality. They don't know what he is going to do as he's so two footed. He will create a lot of space for us on the pitch. I think he will be a fantastic signing. I really really do.
