Italian Serie A 2022/23

Great win for Napoli. Simeone will become important this season

This league is easily the most entertaining league in Europe.

That sounds like you are looking at some wrong stats. I think all clubs (including Roma) had higher attendances during the 90s and 80s than the 2000s.

This website offers a complete view. You can't go by club, but it is easy to read for every season available.

Thanks mate. Some bizzare figures on Transfer Market about this. Dunno where they got them from.

Has to be one of the rarest days in Serie A with Inter, Milan, Juventus and Roma all losing on the same match day.

Udinese finished second that season too.

Reminds me, I really loved watching Di Natale play

I put a tenner on Napoli and Madrid to win there leagues this year. More confident in Napoli now after beating Milan last night.

Di Natale played for a long time, but not that long. ;)

I know what you intended to say

Smalldini gives Roma a huge lead

Anyone else quite like to see Roma go all the way? Just for Smalling and Jose.

Big win for Roma and huge pressure on Inzaghi now. They're already 8 points behind Napoli.

This season we will have a surprise winner. One of Napoli, Roma, or Atalanta might pull it a shock.

If not then then I think AC Milan will win it again

I still think it will be Milan. Those 4 will probably be the top 4 though.

Roma have beaten Inter away from home and tied to Juve away. Really good results.

The loss to Atalanta they thoroughly dominated them and were unlucky.

Udinese is the only real blip in their season.

I don’t fully disagree with you, I think Milan is the strongest of the “traditional” challengers.

However I think one of the 3 I mentioned will rightfully bet on themselves as this season is a huge opportunity with the league being wide open.

Napoli have had great starts before and it falls apart, but would love for them to win it. Milan are just one of those teams that will pick up points even if they're playing shite. Not sure the other contenders have that in them.

I'm still always wary of Juventus even though they have a diabolical squad with a manager who is past his sell by date.

Great league again this season though, looking forward to Empoli v Milan later

Would Napoli really be a huge shock? Perhaps after selling Koulibaly but there's still loads of good players there even if they've had stronger 11s in past decade.

They were unlucky at their last peak to come against the imperious Juve team who were regularly shooting 90 + points but probably in last few years they've underachieved domestically.

This is certainly a chance for them now.

Late goal for Milan with another assist by Leao

That was a great finish by Leao. He basically did everything throughout the game.

Only In Portugal does a player of his quality not start for the national team
