How can Israel continue to bomb innocent civilians without being punished for it? I know why, but it's just so fecked up. Biden is just as bad as Bush.
Terrorising countries and people in this region is one of the few things Democrats and Republicans agree on.
Just saw a pic of these civilians reminiscent of what took place during World War II.... how is the Israeli government getting away with this. Coupled will all the horrific footage of dying or wounded and traumatised children, it makes me sick.

I think there's little doubt they are also targeting journalists, the ratio that have been killed doesn't add up at all. The guys who are still reporting are incredibly brave.

Yeah know all about that. Can't say I'm really surprised as they have no qualms slaughtering kids. Using/experimenting the most sophisticated bombs on a civilian population is really sick.
Was listening to a guy who grew up in Gaza and he said they could tell the different types of missiles/planes/drones just by their sounds (how fecked up that is) and they change a lot, so they are also using Gaza as an experiment for the different types of bombs.
It's absolutely horrific. Finding myself thinking about most of the time each day and the worse is that we have no way of helping them.
I'm still astonished that governments are doing nothing even though they know most of the sentiments from the public worldwide is for a permanent ceasefire. It's like they don't care at all for our opinions much less the suffering of innocent civilians. It's quite alarming and sickening.
Arabs, especially Palestinians, are currently at the absolute bottom of the human hierarchy and fair game when it comes to western international policies. Either terrorists or leeches that you safely can bomb back to the stone age should they get in your way, without any repercussion whatsoever. Then you have a spoiled brat born out of WWII's collective guilt that literally can get away with murder and do whatever the feck it wants with the US and the EU's blessings, and unconditional support. If there ever was a textbook example of double standards, Palestine is it.
I maintain that any other country in the world would've been pulverized by the freedom merchants if it tried a tenth of what "the beacon of light in the region" has been doing in Gaza and the West Bank for decades.

Really trying not to “take sides” but feels like this.
If you look at the Ukraine/Russia headlines and substitute Palestine/Israel, feels like similar (worse) but with a completely different narrative/political view.
The responses are telling since these people mostly aren't (based on quick look at their accounts/bios) Israeli but foreign supporters of Israel, sharing the same mindset.
So they do not deny its a mass arrest of civilians to see if there is some combatants between them. Do not deny breaking international law. Dehumanizing pictures of naked civilians to see if there is some combatants between them.
This was the tactic of Saddam Hussein in southern Iraq in 1991 and in Kurdistan.

Nothing earth-shattering, but a confirmation that social media talking points, censorship (on social media and in real life), firing people, etc is all pretty well coordinated between the Israeli government's arms, many sympathetic Silicon Valley CEOs, and venture capitalists.

Israel is drunk with power it seems. They can do what they want with complete impunity, while maintaining the backing of the biggest western powers that, for some reason, choose to impotently voice vague concerns about Israel's conduct. My own opinion of Israel has nose-dived as a result of the events after October 7th, and I hope there is a generation of younger people that see this for what it is, rather than mindlessly supporting a criminal state like the current crop of elected politicians are largely guilty of. My hopes are not high though.

What does 'taking care of it' mean in this context? Are they contacting her employer to reprimand/dismiss her based on a post where she says 'freedom for Palestine'? Has that also been added to the list of inflammatory, anti-semitic statements?
