Israel - Palestine Discussion | Post Respectfully | Discuss more, tweet less

I don't know the person you're replying to, but bothsidesism is only beneficial to apartheid Israel. It definitely hurts the Palestinian cause. It seems like the rational, thinking man's position but it's truly disgusting in this context. If years of written and video documentation isn't enough for your skeptic eyes, come here, see for yourself. It really isn't complex at all, the solution is complex of course (the settlements are precisely for that), but the problem isn't.
Agree 100%

It is hard to know what to believe and whom to believe.

In the video with the building, someone says they bought this building. Someone else says they stole this building. Who is telling the truth?

In the other video with the hearse, we see that the police is attacking. But the video does not include anything before that, we can't see how it started. Here is the official story from the police. Are they telling the truth?

You can here her brother's account here from 24.30.

It's not at all difficult to know who to believe.

Do you think the same about the Russian Invasion? Is it all Ukrainian propaganda as well?

What possible excuse can there be for battering pallbearers in a funeral procession? I really need someone to explain that one to me.

Verified account claiming to be a spokesman of the city

Appointed spokesperson of the Jewish community of Hebron (I did some digging). So the equivalent of me representing a community group and passing myself off as an Ambassador.

If you are interested, he is raising money for a new helmet: https://kumah.givecloud.co

Huge turn out to the demonstration against the apartheid regime’s murder of the journalist. Glasgow stands with Palestine.

Was it last year when a report published showed a third of Tory ministers, including Boris, were funded by Israel or Israeli agencies?

Point being how do you expect these lot to speak out?

feck the Israeli Government, its Army, and everyone that supports them - the events at the funeral were so bad that even Keir Starmer had to say something

It’s widely reported the building belongs/belonged to the Jabari family. According to multiple sources, a Jabari family in Hebron are on good terms with the settlers there, even hosting iftars for them (including Yishai Fleisher):

Assuming it’s the same family, or same faction of the family, this suggests that the building may have been purchased. However, it is also widely reported that the Jabari family is or was involved in a long-running feud with rival families in the Hebron area:

And one Ashraf Jabari appears to be a hate figure for local Palestinians in the area (according to Hebron journalist Issa Amro):

Palestinian activist Issa Amro wrote in The Forward that Jabari “is one of the least respected Palestinians in the Hebron community,” adding that the entrepreneur has been accused of stealing money from neighbors
And tonight we have this:

Racist apartheid state. feck them and their supporters.

It was the right move to expel Russia from Eurovision. But Israel should have be kicked out for the same reasons.

I know it seems like a trivial point, but it speaks to the way brown Palestinian victims are regarded in comparison to white Uranians.

All this trouble and violence, and at the root of it is who's invisible Man in the sky is real. (Amongst greed and ignorance)

What a primitive species humanity is.

What's going on in Hebron then, a feud between 2 Palestinian clans?

Abrahmovic, alongside many others, got away with funding Israeli settlements and IDF for years.

It's not a trivial point. Many of the "its complicated" crowd relate to the white victims and find it hard to wrap their heads around who is at fault here.

Thats fkd up.

As always with these stories it's only half of the truth:

Demonstrations were forbidden, because previous years made the police expect (quoting):
-chants that commit incitement of racial hatred ("Volksverhetzung")/antisemitism
-glorification of violence
-giving the impression of willingness to turn violent and thus intimidation
-violence

Here's an article that quotes a police spox stating there was a group of 70 people, who gathered in breach of the ruling above and they recorded their identities.
I wouldn't vouch for police behavior, but to claim that they just arrested everyone sounds far fetched to put it mildly.

The police is one of the most brutal forces in the world.

The videos that can be seen on social media shows how much hatred they have for Palestinians, so them indiscriminately arresting people is not a huge stretch.

It amazes me how people from certain regions of the World will blindly believe anything israelis spout even if the evidence shows that not to be the case.

Are you trying to tell me that the Berlin police and courts are Israelis?

‘My only hobby is crying’: the boy who lost his family to an Israeli airstrike
Omar Abu al-Ouf’s father, mother, brother and sister were all killed in the attack on their apartment building last May

Ouf spent 12 hours under the collapsed building, his arm around the body of his 12-year-old sister, Tala. His brother Tawfik, 17, remained alive for several hours; they talked to each other in the darkness, choking on rubble dust. Tawfik told him that their mother, Reem, was dead; before rescue teams could reach them, Tawfik too died from his injuries. Their father, Ayman, an internal medicine specialist at Gaza’s main hospital, was also killed in the attack.
The 11-day conflict last May between Israel and Hamas, the Palestinian militant group that controls the Gaza Strip, left Ouf totally alone. A year on, the teenager still suffers from nerve problems in his right arm and leg. He is trying to rebuild his life, he said, but still can’t make sense of what happened.

“Ramadan and Eid this year were very hard. I miss them every day. I didn’t think my life would be like this,” he said. “I don’t go out much. Sometimes my friends come see me here, but we have all got to study now. The only hobby I have since the incident is crying.”

Priti Patel was caught trying to send tax payer funds to israel and shes now home secretary…she should be done for treason but not a fk is given by media or the public.

What is their source for this information?

Whose source?

I saw a wild claim in the tweets that were shared and I relayed the official position of the Berlin authorities, they are the(ir own) source.

The other poster then told me I believe anything Israelis say.

What do you mean? I shared a statement from the official Berlin police Twitter account. The other is an article from a public broadcaster that quotes a police spokesperson. I think that's pretty self explanatory.

Sorry I should have made it clear, I was talking about the israeli police not the German handling of those protestors.

What does Israeli police have to do with claims about Berlin police?
