Elon Musk, a close adviser to President-elect Donald J. Trump, met with Iran’s ambassador to the United Nations on Monday in New York in a session that two Iranian officials described as a discussion of how to defuse tensions between Iran and the United States.

The Iranians, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss policy publicly, described the meeting as “positive” and “good news.”

Might be ideal scenario but on the other hand imagine how much the right would flip out if Dems, especially those without official government positions would have all the secret meetings with hostile nations like Trump's folks do. There was a lot more of that back in the first term and we haven't even started the second one yet.Does anyone else smell a coup?
