Isn't it odd that only white brazilians are attending the games?

Well it's that or non white Brazilians don't like football.


I saw a program where they were talk to some indigenous people out in the Amazon and they said they Football is a sport predominantly watched and played by European/Brazilians.
 
I actually though Campbell was Jamaican based on his surname and skin color. Does anyone know how he ended up playing for Spanish-speaking Costa Rica?

Most of the blacks in the Centreal American Caribbean coasts are garifunas (this is the case for CR, Nicaragua & Honduras), but also Panama got a huge influx of Jamaicans workers that never left after building the canal. I guess after that many established in Costa Rica, in fact there have been a lot of blacks/mulattoes with English surnames in their NT, just the most recent cases:

So what you do is look in the stands and the audience trying to spot black Brazilians? Hard to imagine what would have possessed you to do that.
