Islam is at War with anyone who isn't a Muslim.
How come that no other religion causes the same mayhem and friction anywhere as it gains a substantial amount of followers as Islam does?
Today's vicious slaughter of innocent cartoonists and journalists is just another prime example of Islamic contribution to modern society.

Its weird because if you ask any Muslim then they will tell you that its as if the world is at war against them.
If the World is at war with them, there would be no mosques in Britain, the US or across Europe, there would be no benefits for Muslims, there would be indeed war against Muslims.
Instead Muslims are killing Christians wholesale in the Middles East, burning down churches and persecuting anyone that isn't a Muslim.
The Ummah is paranoid, the muslim thought is polluted with nonsensical matters, murder and religious zealotry.
Non muslims are making all the advancements in technology, medicine and philosophy, whilst muslims are stuck in a vicious violent circle that they can only blame themselves for. They have a brain, but they decide to not use it and let it be drugged with their zealous religion.
Drawing cartoons isn't war. Murder is.

I don't necessarily disagree with your stance, but it should be pointed out that the vast majority of victims of Islamist terrorism are Muslims themselves - see Syria and Iraq.
The Islamic Empire was actually leading technological, cultural and economic innovation in the 8th/9th Century whereas Europe was stagnating in its Dark Ages. As to why its regressed so violently in recent centuries? Its a culmination of things really - Poverty, Imperialism, empowering by Western nations (see support of radical insurgents in Syria, the Mujahadeen in Afghanistan, Western consolidation of Islamist regimes like Saudi Arabia). Another key factor are the scriptures themselves - literally interpreted they will be problematic and probably incompatible with progressive and secular society. It took Christianity centuries to 'clean' its macabre and gruel practices, it might take Islam a couple more.

Terrorism isn't Islam, otherwise it would mean me and my entire family are terrorists and some of us have lived in France for their entire lives without a single pb with other communities and religions. I have seen many muslims who have Christians, Jewish and even non religious people.
I find it pretty odd that's the first time I've seen the Kurds being openly praised like that.

What is ISIS's gain exactly? I mean, can anyone give a rational answer as to what is their objective? In THEIR ideal world, what is their desired result?
The establishment and expansion of a new Islamic caliphate in the image of the first Rashidun caliphate which followed the Prophet Muhammad. They ultimately aim to expand it throughout the world, and subjugate all Muslims and non-Muslims under their own interpretation of Islamic law.
Territory to create a "Caliphate".

Actually probably not much harsher than Saudi Arabia, which is about as bad as it gets in any recognized state. Saudi law and the Islamic State's ideology are derived from the same Wahhabi origins. Or see life in Afghanistan under the Taliban during the 1990s for an even better example.
He has posted about thousand posts in last few days from which you can obviously see he hates Islam and Muslims(not just terrorists, but muslims), I had no idea this forum is so tolerant to that kind of stuff. I am not even sensitive on this religion thing, I can't remember when is the last time I felt offended by that and I live in real feck up where there is still so much hate, but most of his posts offended me. As I said, I am not even sensitive on religion(Islam) stuff at all. I live in a country against which was commited one of the biggest genocides in Europe just 19 years ago(around 8000 people were killed because they are muslims and the whole Europe watched it) so I learned to live with some people hating Muslims.

I indeed dislike all religions. But discussing Islam always takes the cake, the amount of "racist" libels you get thrown at one, it really starts to come in large quantity when you touch the holy grail of Islam. And I don't hate muslims, I do hate the ideology and religion that is Islam though. But same goes for Christianity and Judaism.

The assault was repelled successful and ISIS militants were pushed back after heavy losses. Surrounding areas are still under the control of Kurdish forces. A lack of air strikes during the assault, due to poor weather, highlights the issues that Kurds still face against ISIS. These include a lack of defensive perimeters on the front lines that can withstand ISIS, and inadequate weaponry and vehicles.

why do the iraqi soldiers always run away?
I don't think anyone knows why.
Maybe they don't believe in the regime they represent enough to lose their lives?

I have so much respect for the Kurdish fighters, very brave people and its strange that their efforts against such an evil group isn't getting much attention.
I would say the Kurds have been getting a lot of attention recently. Most of what I see on European and American news channels about this whole crisis has been pro Kurd. There's been a lot of support for the Kurdish forces in the form of arms and regular visits from leaders and their respective governments, from across the world.
