I don't regard him as a legend. Great Player though. Great for a couple of seasons for us, but a Madrid legend.
At least Jones and Smalling are loyal to the cause, Ronaldo just made us win everything then ran away.
Holy bump Batman.
Hang on it was more than a couple of seasons. 3 titles on the trot, a Champions league, a member of arguably the greatest United team ever.I don't regard him as a legend. Great Player though. Great for a couple of seasons for us, but a Madrid legend.
He had 1 incredible season for us. 2 very good ones, and 3 decent ones.
I'd say he's a RVN level player for us.
I class players like Evra, Ferdinand, Vidic, Rooney, Carrick etc as more United legends than him.
Yeah they say that even though they both have had a similar amount of years in football. Ronaldo has played nearly double the amount of games. Do you know why this is?
It's because no manager (even fergie) throughout the whole of Cantona's career could control him. Read up on Cantona before you paint him as some sort of knight. He had a very troubled career with discipline on and off the field.
What?What the....
What?
Evra was with us for 8 years and was an integral player in 5 title wins & a Champions League win. Ruud was here 5 years and was integral in 1 title.
Love them both, but Pat is the bigger legend. I class Ruud and Ronnie as legends too. Ronaldo fecked off to Madrid before he even hit his prime, so he loses United legend points for that. He is a bigger overall football legend than all of them of course.
He's a Madrid player, nobody other than United fans are going to remember anything about his time at United.
Madrid. Like I said, I class them at about the same level in terms of legendary status for United. Ronaldo is higher in fact. Evra is far higher than both for me personally, he lived & breathed United, and still does. And where did Ruud go?

HahahahaAt least Jones and Smalling are loyal to the cause, Ronaldo just made us win everything then ran away.
And why should I care about other fans and what they think or remember?
United great.
Madrid legend.
It's absolutely embarassing that our fans think one player can be a legend of two clubs
Are there any non United fans who think that some player can be legend of more clubs? Especially for a case of Ronaldo, he has won around 4 times at Real Madrid what he did for United, stayed for far longer there, etc.
Because people laugh at United fans like you. United fans are are only set of fans in the world who think player can be legend of two clubs, because we had Ronaldo. Frankly, it's embarassing. Even some Real Madrid fans won't find Ronaldo their legend. But then we have proved over and over that our fans are not really smart anyway, so it's no surprise for this either.
Erm, maybe because he is a Real Madrid legend?
Is Rooney Everton or United legend, or both?
Is Pirlo a Juve legend or Milan? Seedorf? Is he an Ajax legend? Neymar is at PSG in his prime so can he not be a Barca legend?Absolutely not a legend. Madrid legend.
Erm, I don't really give a feck about how we classify Ronaldo but your stance on this is very odd. Is Puskás a Real Madrid legend in your opinion? It's absolutely embarassing that our fans think one player can be a legend of two clubs

I am not sure about Pirlo, I don't really think Milan fans like him that much as United fans like Ronaldo. @JPRouve ? Pirlo is more legend of the game, and Juve and Milan great. Definitely not legend of both teams.
Seedorf played around 300 games for Milan so I would say he is their legend. I don't think Ajax can claim he is their legend at all. He played over 100 games for Real Madrid, does anyone even remembers him playing there, let alone thinks he is their legend?
Suarez is Liverpool's legend almost the same as Ronaldo is ours. Smaller club mentality thinking he is their legend when in reality he fecked off to a bigger club in his mind. He would sign for Real Madrid too if they called him. Never in a million years Liverpool legend. Well, except in Liverpool fans brains.
I am not sure about Shearer, but he is definitely not Blackburn legend having played more than 300 games for Newcastle.

Your post amounts to:
"Don't say that! Don't say that! People will laugh at us!"
We're not 15 year olds arguing at school. Who gives a feck? Very few things in football are actually embarrassing. It is a game. Fun. Entertainment.
I don't know too much about football in sixties and seventies, were Real Madrid and that Hungarian teams even rivals in some European competitions?
