Fantastic all round bowling effort from MI. Behrendorff, Bumrah and Slinga look like a formidable combo.

Kishan in for Yuvi, and that is probably the ideal MI side. Maybe Lewis for Pollard.. but they ain't going to drop him after tonight's performance!

Another problem with playing Lewis is that Rohit pretty much confirmed that he'll open the batting throughout the IPL. Don't think either of Lewis or QdK play at #3.
 
Mumbai need to drop Yuvi for Kishan. It's mind-boggling why Yuvi is getting a go.

Also for God's sake please promote Pandya.

Why did Delhi pay such big money for Morris? One of those players who seems to be miles less than the sum of his parts.

Said it here before - over-rated. Your last sentence sums it up perfectly.

He's an all rounder who has no effect with bat or ball when it matters. His runs never win matches and he never takes important wickets for a supposed strike bowler. Rather start with an actual strike bowler(which is very important in IPL) because wickets up front really dents the batting team, and Morris' runs almost never make a difference anyway.

Also Kohli probably should have got Negi on in the 19th and given Southee the 20th and not bowling Ali on a pitch that was turning a bit was strange.

Kohli's captaincy has been a shit show. Doesn't bode well for the national team either.

Kohli doesn't think much of Moeen's bowling does he.

In England we think he's better than Rashid but the Indian players, who know spin better than anyone, clearly don't see it that way.

I don’t even understand why England has this school of thought. In the recent WI tour, Rashid looked better than Ali in pretty much every match if my memory serves.

Yeah your memory doesn't. Ali took 14 wickets in the three tests, Rashid went wicketless in the first and was dropped.

There's no doubt Rashid is a better white ball bowler mind.

Why is Ali playing if he isn't even given an over? Strange captaincy.
I was in favor of bringing in Southee but my God WTF bowling performance was that from such an experienced bowler!

I still think he'd be more effective in red ball if he had a smarter captain. Root is from the classic English school and only seems to trust tweakers and medium pacers (as reflected in his record). But anyway, that's for another thread.
