Red Indian Chief Torn Rubber
Thus says Kemo
I would take Kaka any day of the week. Our 4-3-3 would be stupendous with him.
Fabregas would never be available for us to sign.Nope.
Prefer Fabregras.
so what about the brilliant players that look brilliant playing there.... does that mean they are SUPER brilliant?Rule of thumb is, never judge a player's ability and potential while he is playing at madrid. The most brilliant player can look ordinary playing there.
That is so far from the truth. It just hasn't happened for the lad at Real. Write Kaka off at your peril. Still one of the best players on the planet. If he came available for the right price you'd snap him up quicker than a diarrhea fart runs down your leg.
Just as he's thriving at Real is it ? His finer days are behind him and his price tag isn't even remotely congruent with his value.
No. He is overrated. There are only three players at Real Madrid I would like to see in a red shirt, and that is Cristiano Ronaldo, Gonzalo Higuain and Karim Benzema.
We don't know what the price tag would be as he's not actually up for sale.
The open better example of muppetry than this thread is this post right here.
Kaka is leagues ahead of any of our midfielders in their current state, complete different class of player entirely. Would absolutely love to have someone as good as him in our midfield. Can't believe some people would rather have Benzema, who has proven nothing on the world stage aside from scoring a lot (but not that much) in France and once against us over a player like Kaka who has proven his skills over and over at highest level.
He is but I can't remember the last time he showed it consistently

Well at international level at least he is very consistant. For Real he's not been anything like as good as Ronaldo but he's certainly been nothing like the failure Benzema has been. At Milan he was playing in a rapidly declining side and I know you play someone like Kaka to turn around a declining side, which I guess he wasn't fully able to do. But I still think his ability in there for all to see and he's in that special class of player.
Were he to come to United we'd play him off Rooney and build our side around him only instead of old legs and lazy gits like Ronaldinho we'd have the energy of Fletcher, Valencia and Rooney around him supplying him and making runs off him. Personally I think he would be the perfect player for us. Really I couldn't imagine someone who would be a better fit except maybe Gourcuff, but he has a long way to go to reach Kaka's level.
But we know what it's been over the past year - £100m plus and 66m.
You could buy far more than one player in decline for that much.
It all depends on the proce but if we can get him here he'd be back to being 1 of the start players again, not 1 of many like at Real. Plus what we're really missing is that bit of magic in midfield. If he was available i think we should and would go for him in a heart beat. For the right price of course.
He's one their galactico crown jewels and will remain at Real until he's in his 30s, at which point it's back to Brazil. He will never be a United player and given his overinflated price I'd say both sides are better off where they are. But don't let that prevent you from dreaming.
Even the idiots at Madrid will be able to work out that if a Galactico comes in and doesnt settle down, doesnt become a vital member of the team and they have the chance to recoup some of the fee they paid and put it towards signing a new Galactico, that can settle and become a vital member of the team. They'd be much better off that way.
So it could be that Kaka does become available, so that they can get Ribery or someone else in as a new galactico.
Highly unlikely given they just squandered 100m on Kaka and Benzema when they could've retained Sneijder and Robben.
Signings from a previous regime. Not really a football decision.
Where's this idea even coming from?
I can't see Madrid selling him, but if they did it would probably be for a gazillion pounds to shitty.
Irrespective when they were bought, it was still wasteful to sell them and buy new players that aren't as good. All they had to do was buy Ronaldo and keep those two, and they would've been devastating in the CL this year - but instead it's Bayern and Inter who are having the last laugh.
Signings from a previous regime. The new president doesnt want them around. Can you imagine if Robben had stayed at Madrid and scored that goal he scored against us, only it was the 1 goal to take Madrid through? He'd have got all the headlines. Not Madrid's new Galacticos they spent all the money on.
So Robben and Sneijder go out. And you know, I think eventually Higuain might share the same fate eventually as long as they can get in someone who is going to score a similar amount of goals. He might last another season though.
Kaka is just having settling in blues. He will ignite La Liga next season. Alongside Ronaldo.
Even Zizou never did it to be fair. All he did was score a great goal in an ECL Final. His first year there was largely shit. Then he became a key component of their machine form then on.I thought he was going to do his thing against Lyon, like Zidane, step it up at the crunch time of the season

feck Kaka, seriously. I'd take David Silva over him anyday.
Eh. Because Silva's more consistant? Because he's not.
Kaka is a former World Player of the Year with growing injury problems, he's acheived more or less everything it's possible to in football.
That's a dangerous investment if ever there was one.
Silva is more versatile, and yes, at the moment he is more consistant.
Is Kaka playing today?? Havent even seen him.
