2 overs of Morkel and 1 of Steyn..

He should have the bottle to use spin at death overs. Does not and will rightly lose because of it.He's such a shitty bowler.. Albie Morkel..

There is no sports culture in India and there never will be I think
Sidhu is a testament of sports culture in IndiaMoney has magical powers my friend and the Indian economy is going to go places . For every 40 crore endorsement deal the likes of Sania Naiwal sign we'll have lakhs wanting to emulate them. Saina isn't done yet and we already have a Sidhu.
More money corporates have the more avenues they would look to spend them on. When money comes in, parents would be more willing to let kids follow their passion. It would take time but there would be more sportspersons in future. Money will help develop a sports culture, it already is.

This is looking like Pak's cup
Yeah, on the same pitch as well. India ought to win given the spinner friendly conditionsSwitched on when Pakistan lost the 7th wicket. great game.
Is the India Aus game at the same stadium? Because they showed Indian team sitting there. If so, how'd the ticketing work?

Word is that Sehwag is dropped. About time IMO, what a fecking waste of talent. Never looks bothered, fitness is poor.
Sidhu is a testament of sports culture in India
Money is never going to develop any kind of culture. European and American sports generated a culture around their sports before big money moved in. That's the reason despite there being NFL in US, many are more passionate about college football and even high school football. Or that even teams in third division in UK have passionate fan base.
Removing cricket there is no sports culture here. Cricket's is not up to the scratch as well otherwise Ranji matches would be watched by at least a few people other than dogs.
I was talking about Sidhu, the 17 year old badminton player who just beat the olympic gold medallist in one of the super series tournaments.
Money will help produce more world class players in other sports which in turn will bring more recognition and more support. Up until now we had only cricket. Every one wanted to be a cricketer and nothing else. Things are changing now, youngsters are adopting different sports, there are more facilities, more good coaches, better understanding of diet and nutrition, better emphasis on fitness, schools are improving sports facilities, makiing easier for kids to participate, parents are more willing, I can list a hundred other things. Like I said earlier, change is not going to come in a day or two. Change takes time and positive is that seeda are already being sown.
People follow heros. A Sushil Kumar will inspire a 100 other Sushil Kumars in Haryana alone. The same way others will do. I don't know the a,b, or c of wrestling and I watched each and every bout that him or Yogeshwar were involved in during the Olympics. I know many other who were equally involved.
As for college football and high school football, do you think they would be so intense if it wasn't for the lure of the NFL and money? How many good players remain in college after their freshman or sophmore years?
We didn't have anything besides cricket a few years ago. Now with more money and more athletes will come more following.
would you really pick Yuvraj over Sehwag on batting?
I wouldn't..
Yuvraj's bowling is not going to be very useful with 5 bowlers..
Although Irfan might well end up getting some good runs at the top. Good batsman.
Normally I wouldn't, but how many runs has Sehwag scored lately?
Bottlers. Its a bit early this time but happening none the less. I wish they're in a do or die match.
I think you need to read up a bit more on football culture in US. Most of the players playing high school and college football know that they have no chance of making NFL. Besides players are only a part of it, the fact people turn up for these games in such huge numbers and passion on display is more than that at NFL game is the main point.I was talking about Sidhu, the 17 year old badminton player who just beat the olympic gold medallist in one of the super series tournaments.

Would he really? Any stats in T20 to back this up?I think Sehwag would win us at least 1 game if he played these 3.
Plus, he's more match fit than Yuvraj.
Normally I wouldn't, but how many runs has Sehwag scored lately?
Abit harsh!
South Africa never deserved to be anywhere in the game after a very average batting display. Only because of Pakistan's early idiocy with the bat did SA get right back into the game ... but all Pakistan needed throughout their innings was one major partnership, which eventually came with Gul's astonishing cameo.
In the end, the right team won, rather than SA 'bottling' it!
Yuvraj has looked very unfit and his movement has been extremely laboured. He could be a real liability given we are going with only 6 batsmen, one of which is Dhoni, who is not as potent in T20 cricket.
Didn't we take Tiwary or Rahane?
Not only that. He should have backed his spinners to bowl the 18th, 19th and 20th overs even after the Albie debacle. Gul kept using the pace of the pacers to heave boundaries and he kept lobing the same stuff at him.Sorry man, but on a spinner friendly pitch, if you're bowling Albie Morkel in place of Botha who's a good bowler then you deserve to lose. Also 5 overs 58 runs and only 3 wickets were left for Pakistan.
Press will be happy to carry on the drama of Sehwag vs DhoniSehwag dropped.
One part of me is happy because he's such an arrogant twat.
3 spinners already.. surprising.
Strong tail, though. Probably can afford to play 6 batsmen. Especially if Irfan opens.
