Don't want to make excuses, but the rain completely changed the game. A wet ball made the spinners useless and the ball clearly wasn't stopping as much as it did in the first innings. Not giving too much importance to this match, hope the team forgets about it quickly.

Erm, when Sehwag gets dropped because of inter team politics, and that affects the team, I'd say its quite a big deal!
He got dropped because he's been shitty and 5 bowlers worked versus England. Sehwag's not going to get dropped because he pissed Dhoni off. He's too good for that.

We need to sort out our mental block against India...I agree with whoever said our bowling is not as good as previous world cups as personally this is the weakest pakistan team in a decade or so with no potential world class talents in sight. Add amir and asif to this team and we would have pissed the world cup. Shame about the corruption though
The problem with India is that they have so many big hitters in their team that it only takes one of them to settle in and take the game away from the opposition as Gul showed yesterday.

I actually don't think, we have many big hitters. Yuvi's out of form and not fit. Sehwag's out of form. Dhoni isn't a big hitter. Raina, Rohit and Kohli are the big hitters. Gambhir's good but not a big hitter.
Guess it has something to do with underrating your players and overrating others then. As if any one of those players gets going they can easily score at a strike rate of 150,200,etc while we have only a couple who have that ability and who can clear the boundary easily.And please can we drop afridi.

Gul's gone off the boil as a bowler big time, too.
We dont have a single good pace bowler at this time. Its so annoying as historically pace bowling is suppose to be our strength. I would rather give a chance to a youngster rather than junaid khan and co.

Pakistan's bowling apart from Ajmal, hasn't been that great in the tournament. Afridi and Gul has been out of form.

Gul's been awful but I wouldn't say Afridi is out of form. Don't think he's gone for more than 8 an over so far. Always keeps it tight.
