Think 120 was par on that wicket, which is why Rohit probably felt they needed 15-20 runs more. Theoretically Pakistan should have done better but they also have a weak batting lineup outside of the top 4 and maybe Iftikhar, do they not have anyone else they could have selected?

I get people are angry at how we played but honestly, other than Pant, no batsman looked anywhere near at ease playing on this pitch. Pant should've been out 5 times before he even reached 20. This was unequivocally a difficult pitch to bat on. No batsman who tried to play aggressive played well and it was always going to be a difficult chase.
India were 80/3 after 10 overs and got dismissed for 119. It was a very hard pitch for non-top order batsmen.

I think that about sums it up to be honest I thought 119 was a trifle under par even on that wicket but I didn't think Pakistan were massive favourites and I wasn't too surprised at the result.
Be serious, Eng will easily make up any RR defict against Oman and Namibia.
Afgan and WI qualifying over NZ is an upset but not a very big one. Current NZ team is one of the weakest in recent years since many of the players seem past their peak.
Bangla over SRL is also not a big upset.

England will still play against Namibia and Oman. Not sure why you guys are talking about NRR. They'll easily trash the two and make up the deficit.
I really don't think they will. This coach and captain combo looks like a car crash and the pitches are seemingly nearly universally hard to bat on. They'll need some exceptional bowling performances if they're to progress (and to avoid the rain).
