I think Rohit was actually trying, but he just doesn't have it in him to go hard from the front. So the plays and misses, and poor contacts were ending up in dots. He's finished though at least in the LO form of the game.

I would disagree. I saw him swing and miss about 4 out of those 28. The straight bat plods and cautious pokes far outnumbered them, and were what put pressue on the rest of the batsmen.
