ICC T20 World Cup 2022

I can't believe the 2 openers for India.

I mean Sehwag was batting so much more explosive 20 yrs ago. Sigh.

These two are more than capable of batting the innings out and putting up a decent total. Big period for England here if they can remove one.

Embarrassing isn't it.
You’d think they’ve never watched cricket before. Especially considering this very tournament had them winning a game when they had less than 10% chance of winning on the predictor at one point in the first game.

This is why we all love watching cricket, it’s never over till the last ball.

If England don’t find a way to curb SKY, he’ll win the game on his own.

Big problem England have is that they don’t have many strike bowlers without Wood. Rashid is one but they’ve played him sensibly. Probably looking at 100 in the final 10 overs.

It's more like you've never watched T20 cricket before. This isn't the first session of a test match

And that's the game. Rohit and Rahul have let their team and country down. I'm furious. We all knew this was coming, and did nothing about it.

The thing is, you know Rahul will stick around like a cockroach as well. He's going nowhere

6 overs of a T20 are 40% of the innings. They're the most important 40% as well.
Regardless of basic maths, no game is over after 6 overs. To suggest it is is ridiculous.

You’re talking like india made 20 off the powerplay. 60 odd isn’t a disasterous start.

It’s almost like no one watched the England Sri Lanka match.

Really impressed with our bowling this tournament. Surprisingly better than our batting.

38/1 is a disaster though, when you know that the rest of the innings is going to go at the same place except for 1 player.

Haha the English fans on here. The Indians can't even hit Livingstone. Thats what pressure does.

Yes it’s not a great start but you don’t become a great team by losing the game after every poor start.

Not many knowledgable about cricket would have seen Zimbabwe get 120 odd and not expect pakistan to chase the game. Literally every ball of that match looked like pakistan would win it until the very last ball.

It’a never over till the end. Given india have started poorly, but they are capable of changing the game just like England are.

Whose to say England will bat any better??

Only takes two good overs here to post a decent score.

Absolute disaster from Woakes going for a boundary there, game over. Congratulations India.

England have let us all down.

The reason we are so upset is we all saw this coming. Opening with Rahul and Rohit is the exact same as starting with Ronaldo as your striker.

What would India have lost this tournament by having naturally attacking players like Shaw and/or Pant open instead of Rahul and Rohit?

Yeah its as if this story hasn't been repeated before. The 2016 SF was exactly the same, with Rahane killing India's innings at the top as well.
