It’s always one of those tournaments. Start rubbishly and then find form towards the end and also rely on other results.
Starting a tournament sh*t is Pakistani cricket heritage.
We (Pakistan) don't play enough ODIs either - which is why we're struggling. Everything too T20 focused.

Apparently we had a five-ball over a little while ago. The 14th over, bowled by Paul van Meekeren, was a delivery shorter than it should have been.
It doesn't seem to have affected Pakistan too much, though, their recovery continues and they've now reached three figures.
Do they not need to bowl that extra delivery?

They've started relatively well (Netherlands) but Pakistan have picked up a couple of vital wickets.

mine went away quickly but i lost about 7 kilos in that one week and couldn't do much of anything for 2 more weeks. of course, these are athletes, etc, but hard to imagine he'll be at 100% soon.

Netherlands are dreadful - a fantastic achievement to make it there, if they win one game they'll have done well, two would be a miracle.
I think they have 2-3 really good cricketers mixed with a lot of average players. If you keep the good ones down you can win easily
They're not that bad - they're definitely the best of the Associate nations and have some very capable cricketers. De Leere especially looks fantastic.

Whats with the empty stadiums
SA SL game the crowd seem to pick up. Just tuned in and pretty decent crowd for a non india game. Of course the Ban Afg game and Pak Ned game were pretty much empty but that was a given.
The 50 over game still has it's place. It encapsulates the past (Test) and present (T20) quite well on it's day. I dare say it's maturing quite well.

They’re my dark horses for the tournament. They have such an explosive middle order that they could easy turn a game in 10-15 overs.
No, not really unaffordable. Prices seem in line with what we'd see for IPL games i believe.
Here's one of the things that's really bizarre. They're still releasing tickets for games after the tournament starts.
