ICC Cricket World Cup 2023

What do we think happens here? NZ packed with spinners on a ground not favourable to spinners. Big score incoming and Pak batting doesn’t look special.

I haven’t seen Indian bowlers at a World Cup perform as badly as Pakistan bowlers at this one.

Don’t know who is more boring to watch - this current Man Utd team or these Pakistan bowlers?

NZ have this won. Looks like the rain will eat up quite a few overs in the chase. In that case DRS target will be something ridiculous the way this is going.

England choosing to bowl again... why?

Also Oz brining in Green & Stoinis as replacements for Maxwell & Marsh... Jeez... loan us an all-rounder!

Hardik is a huge loss. The only player we didn't have a proper replacement.

I've been pretty confident we would get smashed in every game since our heads fell at this tournament (after the Aghan loss basically).

But i've got a feeling England will be able to get themselves motivated for the Aussies today, and I expect a closer game.

I'm on a nightbus all day/night so I'll miss it

I agree with Vaughan that it's just stupid for Stokes to be staying there now talking about an operation with the hope of being fit for India in January. He probably shouldn't be there anyway, and putting off the operation for another week or two for no reason with this tournament makes zero sense.

There's some weird calls by management generally which should be questioned when the team are back home I think.

I'm in the area, might rain later but not enough to lose any overs.

The whole tour screams lack of leadership. I think the rumours that Mott has no authority are most likely true, with the players making the decisions themselves. That leads to strange calls like the above.

Hang on a minute we've won the toss and decided to bowl again. FFS

Ravindra has been superb all tournament. Looking like NZ's next great batsman.

Pakistan bowlers being smashed is just so insane to see, what is usually their biggest strength

We look a different team top of the order with Fakhar back.

Bumrah, Rohit, Jadeja? Think those 3 are the big irreplaceable players.
From a pace all rounder pov he is irreplaceable . I know others you mentioned are equally important but so was pandya.

He’s been brilliant - I’m holding off posting about him as I don’t want to jinx it. :nervous:

Didn't realise there was a 2nd game on until i came in here. Looks like this one should be on sky main event. Must be some hitting

Babar needs to keep ticking this over to a run-a-ball 100. The hard works been done on the other end

This is such good batting. Early boundary to release the pressure in the over, and then milk singles and bad balls
