It's just above par on this pitch. Might have our first close game of the tournament.
Hope so. Belter of a wicket. You'd think they can make a game of this.

Pakistan seem to have started pretty well.
Not enough 6s in most of them.In a chase like this, you have to get ahead of the run rate early. And Pakistan just don't do that

They've hit 2 so far, one was a drop and pushed out, the other just hit the boundary rope. This is a tiny ground, rememberNot enough 6s in most of them.
This pair needs to bat on together till 45th at leastGame on.
Game on.
Oh well. This pair needs to bat on together till 45th at least
and its over.
Game on.
I get your point that these two should try to stay till the end but you also have to question other batters. Can't always expect Rizwan to stay till the end. Others like Ifthikar and Saud should do better.Game over. Both RIzwan and Babar could have played a part but looks like once again pressure got the better of them.

Not possible when you are chasing around 100 with just 12 overs to go, the openers screwed pak, this is why i love what rohit's been doing, you can't have openers scoring at run a ball for 20 overs when you are chasing 360+.Pakistan clearly done no research. Pacers can be smashed at will here at this ground, should have seen off Zampa if they couldn't play him.

A bit like the World cup so far...some good cricket, but then not much else.
I would say he is a very good player but no way a Kohli or even Rohit. He is 29 and these are the tournaments you have to elevate yourself to be competing with the very best.Is Babar Azam actually that good or really over rated?
outside of World Cup I don’t follow much of Pakistan cricket and he is hyped up at every World Cup, and he very rarely does something notable. And his captaincy is consistently horrid.
