Perhaps understandably given the occasion I feel like Pakistan are batting as if it's a semi final or something, feels like they are hoping for an 'average' score to not risk a disaster, then backing themselves to take early wickets and scoreboard pressure.

Again, I don't think you understand that Pakistan cannot read mystery spin bowlers, so for them to accelerate would've been to start slogging blindly with no idea where the ball is spinning.

Was never ever going to be in doubt tbf. India have always had Pakistan’s number at World Cups. 7 World Cup meetings and 7 comfortable India wins although the one in 2011 was very nail biting but Pakistan still couldn’t get the job done after a poor India batting performance in that game. No surprise that Pakistan are getting absolutely humiliated here but history shows, it’s always been that way in World Cup meetings between these two rivals.

It's not about blindly slogging. It's about rotation of strike as well. The intent was completely missing is my point. Maybe they wanted to play out Kuldeep and that's fine but you can do that with some rotation of strike as well
