Wow Stokes
JP gets into this team because he is Faf’s mate and once scored a century in a test in Australia in 2008.
TMS is decent when you're at work but I wanna see the catch!
Ian Chappell said that he'd be the best ever batsmen .
Ben Stokes shouldn't be a cricketer. Earlier, I think they had him down sprinting at 28kmph which, considering was over just 20 yards, is quite quick. I don't think he's particularly great at bowling or batting but his athleticism is incredible. Weird he chose cricket as his sport.
I'm surprised you haven't called England the PSG of cricket given their tendacy of picking talented players from other countries.
You don't read my posts do you. Did say they're in the same boat in the same thread (not sure if it was this one)
That's the greatest catch I've ever seen.
IndeedSaffers batting is really crap.

Some games I’ve watched him even when he’s not batted or bowled that well it’s almost felt worth it him playing for how good he can be in the field.
The next Ricky Ponting once upon a time.Ian Chappell said that he'd be the best ever batsmen .
Also Amla is a weird ODI batsman. He's got all the great numbers but somehow I don't think he'll ever be counted as world's best.

Guys like 6"2,/6"3, built like a mini tank, fast as feck, has incredible reactions yet plays cricket. He could probably play a multitude of sports at a professional level.
Oh for sure, he’s a fierce competitor too surprises me he doesn’t play something where he can let it out more
He can't take the game away from the opposition. Also Amla is a weird ODI batsman. He's got all the great numbers but somehow I don't think he'll ever be counted as world's best.
Just playing in the wrong ODI decadeIts probably cause hes associated as a "test batsman". Hes a really, really good ODI batsman.

I think the change in the pace of ODI cricket did for him a bit. At the start of the career he was very good, and then suddenly he became a player you never really minded scoring runs against you.
Case in point, he has two t20 hundreds and they both came in losing causes. If Amla gets big runs in limited overs cricket someone else probably can get them quicker.
De Kock starting to penetrate.
