ICC Cricket World Cup 2019

So I just dug out the scorecard from Brian Lara Cricket 2005:

Huge fan of so many of those, Guisseppi is my favourite though.
Nothing beats the original Brian Lara Cricket on the megadrive, spent many an hour accumulating 900 run scores in Test matches!

Great effort by our boys to restrict England. Still don't see the Proteas winning this though.

That wagging tail could be crucial. It seems we're 20 or so light, I don't think 350+ was ever on on a trickier pitch than it first appeared.

Free your mind ffs, the confidence in the dressing room must be sky high given how we managed to pull that back. This is the lack of pressure our batsmen traditionally thrive on.

Root saying he wanted 'a truer wicket'. My heart bleeds for him :( This has become a bowlers game.

I've been hurt too many times in World Cups to ever show any confidence in this team. If AB was there maybe we'd have a chance but he's not so....

I'm excited for Amla vs Archer

EDIT: In particular because it's an ODI and not a mind numbing T20 where you hardly get to see a proper innings played.

AB? the same guy that ran himself out in 2011 in a knockout game? I believe in De Kock more when it comes to chasing down big scores.

I hope Amla's ok for the rest of the tournament, Smith reckons he's had a tough winter so I'd like him to have a good WC.

Archer's bouncer is incredible. No change in action from his length ball, just a slight snap of the wrist and suddenly the ball's coming at your head at 90mph

If we keep this level of fielding up we could get out of jail a few times this tournament when our batting is under par.

Disgusting to watch Archer winning this for England. Guess they could only win by piling up players from Ireland, SA and Windies.

Not to mention with his height and action it is Flintoffesque in terms of how the ball picks up weight and pace off the deck.

Wickets in hand will be key here. SA do have some big hitters down the order.

Well, he has to do both.

Yeah one is important than the other, if clicks along eventually he will have a strike rate of 120 which for this total is more than fine. He carries the bat and rely on the hitters coming in. Required Run Rate is only 7 which isn't a lot with wickets in hand.
