He has not done that well in this WC. Normally he takes much more wickets. Just 5 this time IIRC. In any case it depends on the surface. Another highway and we will have to drop at least one spinner.
This is a collective batting failure. Didn't set the pace early and couldn't finish it. Very disappointing as this was a achievable score on this pitch.

Thats 30 minutes of my life I am never getting back. This is crazy. With 5 wickets in hand and two batsmen at the crease, its difficult to digest this kind of innings. No intent at all. A 315 All out is way better than 300/5. And getting just singles isnt the best way for NRR minimization

Take stock of where we failed, ship out Malik and Hafeez, and finally build a middle order for the long=term (Babar and Haris should be the foundation). Shaheen and Hasnain are two very good young pacers but we need a top-class spinning option (Shadab should be a support bowler, a la Hafeez), especially since the next World Cup is in India.
