ICC Cricket World Cup 2011

We've beaten you too much in recent times. We just wanted to be good hosts.

And you should have beaten Ireland today. But you didn't. Nothing new!

This is piss funny

Thanks for proving my point. We ought have beaten Ireland and India.

England > Ireland > India. This is clearly more embarrassing for you.

They seriously need to replace James Anderson in the ODI team, he is a liability on flat pitches.

Gloating never ends well, just a warning.

If we lose to Ireland you're well entitled to make ONE post laughing at us. It looks like gloating only because you're all getting so wound up at me doing just that. Get over it, any team that loses to such an inferior team like that deserves to be laughed at once.

I think you're the one wound up, Amol. We didn't lose....we just wanted to prove that Ireland were a better side than India.

Will you stop using the magnificent Irish as some insult you can throw between your below par cricket teams. Respect for the new force in world cricket please.

And you've been proving everyone else is better than you for ages. Well done!

If this is being wound up, it's a fantastic feeling.

So where do we stand in the running for the World Cup? Favourites? Joint-favourites? Second favourites by a whisker?

This is all very exciting for us. Since the recession and elections and all we haven't had very many excuses to go drinking at lunch time on a workday.

Does this mean Ireland will be now taking England's best players for their new World dominating side?

I don't know what the last few days have proven. Who is better than who? We still can't say conclusively IMO.

What I can say has been conclusively proven is that Amol is a fecking twat.

Also O'Brien's innings today was one of the finest bits of clean hitting I've seen in quite a while. Well played him and well done to the Irish.

I always feared that England's bowling will ultimately be their undoing. Not effective on flat tracks. Too many of them depend on conditions and bowler friendly pitches to take their wickets.

Aww well done. You took defeat well didn't you.

By how many, er, crickets do you think Ireland would beat Lancashire by, Sults?

They need to get rid of Sidhu asap. He doesn't let the others talk. It's as if he thinks it's a contest with a buzzer that allows you to answer first.

They need to get rid of Gautam Bhimani first or whatever he is called.

He was just interviewing Mooney right now and started the interview like this

"Congratulation, you must be over the mooney with this win"

Golf, we're good at golf as well. Golf and cycling. Golf, cycling, yatching and rowing. All the sports the poor countries can't afford.

I heard that.

I don't think I've seen a happier set of pundits than at espnstar ATM.

I don't even think England has a professional cricket team unlike say Ireland and India. We drew with India and only just lost to Ireland.

Why is everyone laughing at England?!!!!

Anyway, nobody gives a shit about limited overs cricket in England. We were just giving our Irish county side and try to see who might be good enough to play for England. In fact at the next world cup the current Irish team will be representing England.
