That was a rare poor over from Ajmal. Narine did well.

India's bowling is terribly shite. Our batsmen need to score 320+ every to win the game, plus Saffers are a strong side. We got lucky that Steyn was injured and Morkel went off.
I agree. There's no clear favourite for me. Each side is pretty much equal and capable of beating anyone on their day. Makes for an exciting tournament.

Reason I call us favourites is that our batting is strong on these sort of pitches and our bowling has the potential to be decent -- and decent bowling should be enough to complement our batsmen.

England with out KP aren't that good. I think Australia should beat them today.
We have batsmen in form. Dhawan, Rohit, Kohli, Karthik and Dhoni, all are in good touch. Jadeja is holding on as well. Bowling wise, I expect Kumar to get better and we will need Ashwin to be hold fort.

Dunno about that. Kohli I agree, he's probably the best batsman to watch when he gets going, even his defensive shots look brilliant but Di Villiers annoys the feck out of me with some of his attempted shots. You could describe Gayle as Robotic I suppose but there is a great deal of elegance to his hitting. Unaesthetic is not the word that come to mind anyway

Australia are going absolutely nowhere with their innings. England will win easily.
I thought England blew it in their innings but that Aussie batting effort was pathetic. As I said before the tournament began, they are too reliant on Watson and Clarke for runs.
He's played a number of ODIs however his average has been poor, remarkable really considering his ability and test average. Probably should be given another shot.

New Zealand's bowling attack is really very good. Southee, Boult and McClenaghan are all fairly young too.

NZ have always had an effective ODI unit due the number of all rounders they used to have, they have some exciting prospects in the current squad, Williamson for me is a world class talent.

Spinners strangled the South Africans. We took key wickets at the right times. Even the fielding was good.
Once again the bowlers have done their job, now for the batsmen to do their job against a weakened SA attack.
