Narine's economy record in his ODI career is excellent, only 3.87!
I'm not sure you could call either of the results upsets?
Infact, every side in the tournament bar maybe the Aussies without Clarke are fairly 50/50.
ha_rooney, I wouldn't call Gayle brilliant.
He's something, yes, but I genuinely dislike watching him bat. Very unaesthetic.
Very tough tournament to call. I think India must be slight favourites. I wish Ashwin would stop bowling like a twat. He tries 60 different things each match.
Reason I call us favourites is that our batting is strong on these sort of pitches and our bowling has the potential to be decent -- and decent bowling should be enough to complement our batsmen.

Yes I agree.
I'd rather watch hitting of De Villiers, Kohli etc rather than Gayle. He's very robotic like in his hitting.
Only for Gavaskar to praise him for his versatility for having a different actionsIt really gets on my tits, when he tries to be extra clever and stops midway through the action.
Why isn't Prior in the England ODI squad?
