But batting has been fantastic. I keep thinking this sort of batting can't be sustained but they prove me wrong every match.

Yeah, our fairly streaky players like Morgan, Stokes, Hales (up until today) all seem to be in very good nick. I'd like to see Bairstow in for Roy for the next game though. Really rate Roy but he's just in very poor form at the moment and Bairstow is too good to be watching from the sidelines when a player in the team is consistently making no runs. Tis not like the old days where the next in line were the likes of Ravi Bopara.
Billings is a better opener than Bairstow, surely?
He doesn't open for Kent (Bell-Drummond and Denly), Bairstow has opened for Yorkshire this year.
OK -- Saw him open for Delhi in the IPL, he didnt have a great overall record but seemed like his style of batting would suit England's batting balance better, since it's Roy they're replacing.
Like Bairstow but only ever seen him play the middle order role.
